Vote for the Next Character or Team of the Month: 12/14

November has come and gone, so that means Wonder Woman's time as our Character of the Month has come to an end! Now, it's time to look forward and decide who will receive our love and focus throughout December. Last month, the theme was characters that will receive movies in the future. This month, we're looking at characters and teams who were in some of 2014's comic book movies! We've selected Captain America (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Wolverine (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Damian Wayne, a.k.a. Robin (Son of Batman), and the Guardians of the Galaxy (Guardians of the Galaxy).

Now comes the really tough part: Deciding which option will earn your vote! Remember, the winning character or team will receive an entire month of attention. You're going to be seeing them a lot on the homepage, so make sure you really want to talk and learn about them! We'll take a look at their best covers, toss 'em into the Battle of the Week, write some editorials about them, and so much more. They're going to get a lot of praise and time in the spotlight, so really think it through before casting your vote!

After you cast your vote, be sure to visit the comments section and tell the world why they should also support your choice. Who do you think they should brawl in the Battle of the Week? Why should the readers learn more about them? What makes your choice worthy of so much discussion? Also, there's no need to rush because the poll will remain open until Friday morning. That should be more than enough time to make up your mind and gather support for your top choice, yeah? The winner will be announced this Friday!

I voted TMNT because it would be a refresher to see a none DC or Marvel character win.Plus the Turtles are an amazing group of characters well deserving of being character of the month.

I wouldn't mind Damian but I think Wolverine deserves the spot this month. If I remember right, he's been in numerous other polls but never made it but now should be his time to shine.

I chose Rogers because I thought he wouldn't get many votes. I also wanted to choose GotG because I thought it would be interesting.

If you want to suck up to staff you can choose TMNT. I'm sure K4ts will be happy and he'll pass out mutagen for your pet turtles at home if they win.

Didn't want to vote for Damien because I'm overloaded on Batrelated things. Seems he's taken an early lead though,

Thanks a lot, now I'm thinking about a "team-up" between Damian and Jar Jar.

That's what happens when you try making your own Splinter, they always rat you out.

I went with Guardians...if they won it would be interesting to feature the multiple lineups from their full history over the decades and not only the current group.

Voted TMNT!! Let's change it up. Damian Wayne is just Batman 2.0, so I really don't get the obsession with him. GOTG already gets enough attention, they don't need it. But if Wolverine wins, I'll be happy.

Turtles. Faith that @K4tzm45 will serve up some much more original battles than with the rest of the group. This isn't a popularity contest. It's about which characters we can all learn a little more about, by focusing on, and coming up with some really interesting content over the next month. Can't really do that if DC and Marvel take it every month.

I voted Captain America, I would vote for Wolverine actually (because I'm starting to read more Marvel and he has become my favorite Marvel hero), but Captain America deserves this, he's the real deal, and a real man. He deserves this (@slimj87d).

The little badass needs a more love on his revival (I am talking about Damian not Wolverine)
