Variant Question

Ive seen stores or people list variants as 1:25 and 1:100 etc etc. what do those numbers mean? I know for sure no way it means there only 25 produce or 100. if that what it means than most stores and people are bsing

It means that for every 25 or 100 regular issue they produce a copy of that variant
