Great news guys!
Again, I'm loving the new format. Glad you guys used a stationary camera this time! Well done! Only thing on my end (and this may just be my computer) the audio sounded a bit strange--Tony sounded much louder than Sara. That's just a minor thing though.
Cant wait for the podcast!
I don't know if it's just because she talks kind of quietly or if she just doesn't talk into microphones, but goddamn am I having a lot of trouble hearing Sara in stuff lately. I am just getting around to listening to that GameSpot podcast that the Comic Vine guys did and she is unintelligible in that podcast and I feel like she's always way quieter than Tony in the stuff that they do together and it is really really annoying.
Otherwise, great video. Looking forward to the podcast with James.
Can't beat a Drew cameo.DREW! Great news guys. I'm pretty pumped for the next X-Men movie. Young Avengers TV show would be great, I just ordered my hard cover of Childrens Crusade, can't wait for it!
Loving this format, have to say excited to see how the x-men universe gets linked and connected in the next film; hmmm i am a bit iffy about an Avengers TV show but the more i think about it Young Avengers would be good and have Maria Hill thrown in with maybe secondary characters from the universe make appearances especially with Gwyneth and Coby's TV careers. Secret Project??? I'm so impatient you have been mentioning this for a while now, it better not disappoint :P i'm sure it will be awesome whatever it is.
Great Video. An X-Men movie based on Days of Future Past, done right would be awesome!.
I agree with the sentiment that a good Superman story is hard to do. I love the concept of a Super being with a noble heart trying to right the wrongs of the world and oppose evil, but it's hard to do that and remain relatable to most readers. He's a character that seems to be a good outlet for stories dealing with grand galactic space opera type stories. At the top of my head Red Son is the Superman story I've been mostly impressed with. But tell the truth I've not had the chance to read much Superman.
I recently saw a bootleg version of the footage shown of Man of Steel at Comic Con, and I must say that looks like it could be spectacular. The snippets of the movie shown had plenty of heartfelt emotion, thrilling action, visual-effects-eye-candy, and a gravitas that has me looking forward to this more than any other film next year.
This one was much better than the last one. Sorry for the comment about the kissing noise last time. I didn't realize you were married G-Man. If I did I wouldn't have mentioned it last time. I actually heard it again at the start of this video and you guys definately couldn't have been the source. I don't know what it was actually kinda like a pop. I think it's something to do with the camera.
If only this was angled so we can have awkward shots of Brad looking up to balance the awkward Sara moments in the I love Mondays videos. Glorious side shot of Drew will do for now though. Love the new format!
When it comes to the animated films by DC it simply comes down to budget every extra minute costs them significantly more then a live action film. I'm sure Bruce Timm and Sam Register would like them longer from 10 -20 mins more but WB is trying to make the max profits. I do agree that they could be longer and it would benefit all the films they've released.
This reminds me of their segments during the Whiskey Media Happy Hour. I'm really liking this new unscripted version of the comic news.
I like this format. This is a lot better than last week since I can see the two of you talking. The previous one cut you off too much.
Those are some bright yellow nails, bro. They look nice though. You in a good mood today, Sara?
Can't care about the new V-MEN movie. Still haven't seen FIRST CLASS. They lost me when they cast their Emma Frost and messed with Mystique.
I would like to see a comic publisher take a real anime route. Where they take a story arc from the comic and turn that arc into a season of an animated show. Not how they take a story and condense it into 75 minutes.
I hate it when people use the term "angst" to sell an idea. Where did our culture get it in their heads that people want angst? Isn't that the very same mentality tha brought us TWILIGHT?
I don't see ARROW lasting a season. The masked heroes never do well on TV. I haven't watched the CW in years.
A "secret project"? I wonder if this might have to do with that comic movie suggestion I made weeks back?? Don't want to say too much on the off chance it is that idea.
10x's better than last week! Easy to watch, normal interaction between two people, gets me the news I want and a wild Drew in the background. LOVE IT and all of you all XOXOXOXOXOX
BB's Wife
Apparently they are being quiet out of respect for the victims of the Batman shooting. Not sure I agree with that personally. It's not their fault. They have nothing to feel sorry for, neither do the makers of the movie and no one has any right to hold them responsible. The gunman is at fault and even with that he's clearly severely mentally ill.
bummer, i didnt realize the movie will be split up in two parts...lame, they should just make it longer like you said.
@xAnimosity: I don't hate the show. It's just whenever it comes up, there sometimes comes the need to wipe up drool. My supply of napkins in my desk is getting diminished. I'm actually really looking forward to it. So far it seems they're headed in the right direction.
For some reason, the stereo is flipped. It sounds like GMan is on the right and Sara on the left. Otherwise, love this new format :)
Very nice. Much more natural feel to this one. I like how Tony discarded the Deadpool comic. I flipped through it and saw when he took out the Invisible Woman after she'd cut off his head and assumed he was dead. I promptly returned it to the rack. I'm looking forward to the First Class sequel. as long as Vaughan is directing it. Just checked and he is so we're good to go (hopefully).
It's awesome.
In my opinion, they should use mask for Arrow. Not the paint.
Speaking of Animal man and Earth 2, couldn't they make TV series for JSA or Animal man? Because I don't think they would make movies for JSA or Animal man.

But hes so hunky and dreamy Tony!! Gosh!!!
Curious about this "secret project". Hmm.
Nice news video this time around, I like the format where both G-Man and Sara are more or less stationary. Having it a discussion type format is nice. Those are some yellow fingernails on Sara! Sorry but I like the color.
X-Men:First Class was actually rather good despite my reservations but I am really really curious how this sequel will play out.
Too bad "I, Zombie" isn't continuing; I was there for the first few issues but then it just floundered, at least for me.
Like the ambiguous Office guy in the background.
Frozen in time and space his ambiguity became legend - Who was that guy anyway?
Question is: Do we care?
One thought about the next X-MEN: Days of Future Past:
Part of the cash cow - Wolverine will be in it - that you can count on!
Seriously what 's up with all the Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe hate? I see a lot of people complaining that Deadpool isn't nice and is pretty violent here. Which is what he used to do before Daniel Way made him into a clown. I haven't had the chance to read it yet (since my local comic store forgot to order it), but I'm looking forward to a less-funny Deadpool and a more deadly one again.
I 'll never understand the Daniel Way love since I think 90% of Way's Deadpool is pretty crappy. Especially compared to other (older) stuff like Cable & Deadpool or Deadpool Classic by Joe Kelly. Now that was some funny stuff, but still seriously deadly as well.
Your sound channels are flipped.
And I don't really know if having stereo sound for people talking is the best way to proceed. I've always found it weird. Maybe that's just me though.
Other than that, nice.
I like the format of this video too. Kudos.
And your superman article was great, it actually inspired me to think of exciting ways to write him. And yeah, it takes a brainy good writer to make Superman work, not because he's unrepeatable but because he is a good person (Kryptonian).
