The action scenes in BvS sucked and that's what he's "known for". As long as he's attached to a film, I won't see it.

Okay, I wasn't taking this too seriously at first, but this might not be a HORRIBLE idea.

Though he did direct one of my favorite movies (300), and I liked all the scenes in that, including the non-action scenes

They didn't suck, I was definitely being hyperbolic. Most of the action scenes were not memorable, and the Batman Superman fight was underwhelming at best.

If I could've picked anyone to do the Elm Street reboot, Snyder would've been up there. Bonus factor: Jackie Earle Haley. ^_^

My only complaint with Dawn of Justice was that Bat vs Supes was relatively short. I also would appreciated if Bats used more traps, environmental advantages, and suped up gadgets. Snyder should've watched TDKR Part II for a few more ideas.

Hmm lets see...Heck no..The guy is obviously talented(Even if story isnt always his strong suit) and his films usually bring in the big bucks..Man the line between trolls,fanboys and haters is starting to blur.

He should go back to directing music videos and advertisements or mindless action movies such as 300. He doesn't deserve to direct movies that require good story telling. And before anyone alleges, I am not saying that because of some fanboyism. I have held this belief even before MOS came out. Never saw him as a good director. Some of you may disagree with me but after you see his future movies, many of you will change your mind, like many did who disagreed with me before BVS came out. Time will tell.

Why would the guy seek a new career? Yeah, BvS was bad but it brought in a lot of money. You know what that means? He's making more than anybody on this site. If he still loves his job AND is rich at the same time, there's no chance that he switches careers.

No. If WB gave him $50-100 million and let him do his own movie where he made up the characters and story, he'd probably make an enjoyable movie.

He needs to stop making DC Comics movies because he doesn't get these characters and is ruining the DCCU.

No, like Michael Bay he's fine for action sequences. He probably needs a co-director or a producer who takes a larger role in shaping films. I do want him off the DC projects, though even if I know that won't happen and we're all just stuck with him until the next reboot.

A person in his position could easily do something else for a living. Snyder has invested a lot of time in this business, so it's pretty illogical for him to something else..

Thats what they did with Sucker Punch, look how that turned out. Face it, Snyder is even worse when he writes his own stories and directs them.

And the fact that some people/comic fans are so angered as a result of his work on Batman V Supes and MOS that they think he should quit making movies for good implies inherent fanatic fanboy-ism.

He should stop making DCU movies. He's ok director. Not a good storyteller. 300 & Dawn of the Dead were decent movies.

I can easily trust the guy to plan out an action scene, his track record is great in that aspect.

Geez, after some time away I realize how uninformed fanboys are about film-making. Synder is a brilliant director, he just isn't a very good storyteller. BvS was directed very well, it was just written poorly. His only other bad movie is Sucker Punch, which he wrote by himself.

No he's one of the most successful directors today whether you like his movies or not, they make tons of money people who say there bad then keep seeing his movies again and again and again.

Of course not. He's a terrible writer, but he is extremely good as visuals.

If we were to trust someone to give characters their proper feats like their comic counterparts and respect their true power level for who they are and not make them weak or powerless or god forbid slow as in really slow, then Zack is the guy.
