The resurrection Trunks Special aired in Japan and it seems there was only additions of Trunks stuff at the beginning and end of the movie. However the battle with Freiza on Namek was reanimated and they made the fight closer to the manga.

Decent animation, terrible art direction.

@alextheboss: The animation at times is fluid and flows well, but the character designs look terrible, likely due to Yamamuro supervising, or someone that admires his designs.

What happened to being swole in DB? Super eveyone is skinnier and looks younger.

@cruelestashley: the only art that looks bad to me was Fieza's first form for a bit.

@alextheboss: They look like their skins are made of plastic wrap with stickers for eyes, Goku especially.

@cruelestashley: I agree the art was kinda weird. The whole special is weird because the Trunks scenes, flash back scenes, and the actual movie all have different art styles.

Wasn't the time machine's fuel blue in the anime? Not sure why they changed it...

Yep. Just like how Trunk's hair was purple and now it's blue. Toei just doesn't care about continuity, lol.

@thedarkpaladin: I wouldn't be surprised. Everyone made fun of how they kept getting new transformations with different hair colors, so what did they do? They gave black super saiyan rose...

@alextheboss: It won't be long before they run out of colors to use. I though SSJ rose was going to be a disappointment, but it actually looked pretty cool in the preview.

@thedarkpaladin: Ya it does look cool, but they can't just keep changing colors, it's ridiculous, lol. Even Frieza jumped on the changing colors band wagon.

@alextheboss: Yeah, i definitely agree with you there. I was hoping they would stop with these unnecassary transformations after SSJB, but i guess that was a pipe dream. lol

Huh.. in my country (Mexico) is already subbed, for the episode thread that I made I had to look for a raw version so spanish subs wouldn't appear, it comes out tomorrow with english sub right?

There should be an English sub version out in about 6-7 hours from now. Although, i'll probably end up waiting until tomorrow night to watch it.

It's really great to see dragon Ball animated so well,it's a shame the anime can't pick up on quality but rose looks awesome
