Poll Red Skull or Sinestro (20 votes)
Regardless of which of their respective films was better, these two were each arguably one of the best things about them.
So who do you think played his role better?

We didn't really get to see much of either, but Red Skull seemed to have more of a motivation for me.
Hugo did okay with an okay use of a character
Strong impressed me with his sinestro. Given the chance he'd be the best thing out of the trilogy that never happened
We're talking strictly about performances here, guys. Let's try not to think about screen time or plot.
As far as movies go....Red Skull. As far as comics go Sinestro any day. Like, easily my top 3 comic villains
I made this thread because I thought they were both exceptional, but for very different reasons.
Weaving captured the outrageousness of the Red Skull well, his extreme confidence, his penchant for a bit of flair in his wide stance and his bold, sweeping movements. Strong, on the other hand, was all about the subtleties, Sinestro's innocent yet potentially dangerous overzealousness, his slowly building dissatisfaction, creeping into disgust, with the way the Corps and the Guardians handle things.
Red Skull stood out. Weaving really made the character. Sinestro didn't stand out, but in a good way. Strong fit the character so well that there was nothing amiss to take note of.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one torn on this.
