It wasn't good. 5/10 at best.

It was an overhyped book where the only true talent was in the art. I went in wanting to love it but got bored as soon as Wraith wanted to become CLark's mentor. Wraith was terrible, his defeat at the hands of Superman was terrible and his turn at the end on his people was rushed and stupid. Heck, most Superman fans prefer H'El over Wraith, that's telling when people prefer something Lobdell came up with. Superman was a stiff and boring character all the way through and Lex was under used. Want a good Superman? Read Pak's or Morrison's New 52 takes on him.

Guilty. I do like a Superman with a personality. Unchained lacked that.

It was a lot more times than that. If Superman smiled twice, that's one more than he did in Unchained.

Im actually looking to sell them they were a huge disappointment and definitely the bottom of the barrel for Snyder especially because everything he writes is a knock out of the park this felt more like a strike out for him.

im actually surprised people thought it was good. im curious to know why. i'd welcome a favoring opinion and "IT HAS GOOD ART" does not count!

Writing : decent, 6.5/10 definitely not Snyder's best. He clearly didn't understand the characters to well but did the best he could. I thought his

ART: 8.5/10 Jim Lee was the highlight of this series, and but the covers were sub par and the design for Wratih was pretty generic IMO

Story: 4/10 ZZZZZZ..... man just thinking back at it is making me drowzy. also that Wraith character was horrible wasn't interesting. and his little "face turn" at the end was so sudden it felt more rushed than the New Gods face turn in that green lantern Godhead event.

I'll average it out at 6/10. it's readable because of art,but it's skippable at the same time befause of the lame story. also now that im thinking back at it there was alot of unnecessary text in certain panels. especially during action scenes
