Saga!
Off YOUR Mind: What Comic Book Arc Should Be Made Into an Animated Movie?
Old Man logan.
Identity Crisis
DC One Million
World At War
New Krypton
Reign of Doomsday
PunisherMax 1-22
Wolverine Enemy Of The State
The Ultimatum
Hause of M
World war Hulk (since there was already made Planet Hulk)
Supreme Power
@Violens: Dude, you get a laser high five for your terrific choice!
Some other choices I'd find unsettlingly awesome:
Transformers: Last Stand of The Wreckers
A five issue epic that's somewhat akin to a mixture of Diry Dozen, Inglorious Basterdz and Fight Club coated in sweet, robo-gorey goodnes. It has an excellent pace, memorable, multi-faceted characters, and a great balance of pyrokinetic excitement, morbid humor, shocking twists and psychological drama. It might be weird to see an transformers animated movie of all as an age restricted toon, but what the heck!
Uncanny X-force
I think you could definately make a good movie out of an amalgamation of the first three arcs (concluding with the Dark Angel saga), but I'd be a happy camper with a short purely focusing on the first six issues as well. Just make sure to keep that sublime atmosphere Remender and Opena has created.
(almost) Anything with Spider-Man and Wolverine
This one might be better suitad for a series. These two share many cool adventures worth bringing to a DVD exclusive: their first one shot crossover, their Marvel Knights series, or even Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine.
The Milkman Murders
Best psychological subsurban horror story I've ever seen. While writer Joe Casey is said to be anything but a failed movie screen writer trying to live out his ambitions with comic books, striving for his stories to utilize the distinct tools of its medium to their fullest, The Milkman Murders would still make a most splendid short animation.
The Pro
Lastly: Anything with Kev in it!!!
id love a New Mutants cartoon series like Young Justice, but if i could only have a movie then Old Man Logan, Mutant Massacre, 2nd Coming, gimme some badass X-men stories
or an Umbrella Academy movie!

They did Planet Hulk so a World War Hulk would be pretty awesome.
I know its just a dream but I would like them to do Planet Hulk over again as a mini series to get all the story and characters right. World War Hulk would make a great mini series as well if they included the X-Men and Defenders mini arc's.
1. Civil War
2. Batman: Hush
3. Knightfall
4. Dark Reign
5. Sinestro Corp War
6. Blackest Night
7. Green Lantern: Rebirth
8. The Death of Superman (Again, more like the comic)
9. The Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul
10. World War Hulk
For DC, I want to see Batman :The Court of Owls. With Bruce Greenwood or Kevin Conroy as Batman, and Lance Henriksen as The Talon.
For Marvel, I want to see World War Hulk since we've already got Planet Hulk. If not that, then Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe.
I would want to see:
Archie Goodwin/Walt Simonson's Manhunter:http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=37411
A completely accurate version (as a period piece) of The Dark Phoenix Saga: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=60597
The Last Days of Animal Man: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=58591
An adaptation of "Ghost Rider/Wolverine/Punisher: Hearts of Darkness": http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=56757
An animated double-feature adaptation of "Wolverine/Nick Fury: The Scorpio Connection" and "Claws": http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=49843
A movie based on "G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes--Declassified": http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=47067
A double-feature based on IDW's Beast Wars minis: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=51594
It will never happen but Batwoman: Elegy would be an awesome animated feature. Especially if the animation style was done totally differently with a very free-flowing kind of style to match JH Williams III unique look. For some reason I feel like an old-school Disney style of animation would work well with this.
Other than that, either Batman: Hush or Heart of Hush would be great. Also maybe Superman: Brainiac or Secret Origin would be cool.
Batman: Hush hands down. I've been waiting for an animated movie based off of this story line ever since I read it. In my opinion, the best Batman story I ever read. Second best, Long Halloween, which they should also make a movie about, but only after Hush.
Keith Giffen's Annihilation. One of the only events Marvel has ever done right
Rotworld Swamp Thing and Animal Man. Leaving either out would be an injustice
Geoff John's Green Lantern Run... Would be better off as an animated series because its so damn long but multiple movies would work too.
Mark Millar's Nemesis would be INSANE to see as an animated movie
The following are my top 3 from these three comic publishers...
MARVEL
DC
TOP COW
- First Born
- Madame Mirage
- Hunter/Killer
It was not basically Knightfall, it used themes from Knightfall, but I want to see Knightfall, I want to see Bane planning the Arkham breakout, and the subsequent nights of Batman capturing the criminals, I want to see Bane fight Batman in the cave animated (cause let's face it, the fight would be more awesome that way) I want to see Jean Paul Valley becoming the Azrael, I want to see the crippled Bruce going undercover, I want to see Azrael taking down Bane, then Bruce taking him down.@The Stegman : Dark Knight Rises was basically Knightfall. I mean, they did change it from him blowing up the prison walls THEN breaking Batman's back to breaking his back then blowing up the wall. If you mean animated, yea. I'd love to see The Killing Joke and Flashpoint
I want Knightfall, not TDKR (which was still awesome btw)
Marvel:
Civil War, Onslaught, Operation Galactic Storm, Shadowland, World War Hulk, Atlantis Attack
X-Men: The Dark Phoenix Saga, Mutant Massacre, Inferno, Messiah Complex, Messiah War, Second Coming, Necrosha, X-Cutioner's Song.
DC:
Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, Blackest Night, Kingdome Come, Our Worlds At War.
Batman: Hush, Knightfall, Knightquest The Crusade, Knightquest The Search, KnightsEnd, No Man's Land, Ressurection of Ra's Al Ghul.
Superman: Death of Superman, The Return of Superman, Superman Grounded.
Green Lantern Sinestro Corps War, Rage of the Red Lanterns,
They should make more movies about Superman/Batman team.
I could list a lot more but I'll keep it simple.
I've been hoping for an animated adaptation of Kingdom Come (with all the classic DCAU voice actors returning to their roles) for a long time, so that's at the top of my list. For some reason I think an animated adaptation of Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman's Miracleman runs would be pretty amazing but I'm almost certain it'd never happen. Spider-Man Noir would be intriguing. Jack Kirby's original New Gods run I'd really love to see. If it had ever finished Warren Ellis' newuniversal could be a really interesting animated movie.
Not the most obvious but the ones I'd personally love to see one day.
