Hi everybody! I think it'll do better for the medium if we throw everything at the general masses, find out what they wanna see, then provide characters for their consumption? After FAUX crapped on Fantastic Four, no one is clamoring for that franchise just yet. But, you work on a prequel series of movies featuring (but not limited to) T'Challa, Namor, or Norrin Radd... By the time they FF was rejuvinated, there would be less need to shoehorn other characters into their movies.
I know, I know... Norrin Radd, just visualize a Pixar movie starring Silver Surfer and Galactus, humanizes him and it builds up to each of the characters listed meeting the FF?!
I would love to see an Iron Fist movie. It could be done cheaply, especially by current Hollywood budgets. Do it like a straight up kung-fu flick with minimal CGI. They could possibly incorporate Shang-Chi and some of the other Marvel martial arts heroes...
I think a Luke Cage movie would be good. As for other properties there are plenty of DC one's I want to see on the screen (flash, Green Arrow, Question, etc), but as long as Warner Brothers has a grip on DC I don't see them happening anytime soon.
1. Preacher....I think that explains itself. 2. The Boys. No, it's not a Garth Ennis thing, it's a really good story thing. 3. The Dark Tower. This would be hard, and what little Opie was talking about doing would have been cool, but I seem to recall that falling through. 4. Deadpool. NOT BY FOX STUDIOS. Look people, lets get this straight, they don't know how to do comic movies that well still. Yes there have been some really good ones, but there have been some absolute failures, and the ones that have been "amazing" haven't really stood the test of time overall. Deadpool would be a hard film to do right; and we can only hope that they don't repeat Wolverine. I mean seriously. Speaking of which... 5. Wolverine. Done right. They could keep Jackman, that's fine, but give us an actual real Wolverine story. Come on people, that last one was complete crap. 6. Transmetropolitan. This would be amazing. In fact move Deadpool down to 6 and Transmet up to 4...fuck 4, put it at 3. 7. Red. Actually based off of the comic, not whatever that abortion was that happened on screen...and seriously, all of those actors are better then that. 8. Nemesis. Before you cuss me out or yell at me hear me out. Get rid of Millar, re-write pretty much the entire script and then make the movie. Hell it doesn't even have to be called Nemesis, this was just an awesome idea that was completely and utterly wasted. 9. Grendal War Child. This would be awesome. 10. Star Wars Legacy. With absolutly nothing to do with George Lucas...wait till he dies and just do it. I love the original trilogy; absolutly love it. But Lucas, I think we can all agree may have well ran a train on a dozen homeless women for 15 cents a pop and then taped the abortions that followed and sold those to us. My mind was raped the moment Jar Jar spoke...and then Indiana Jones...I have to go now. That is my list, in no particular order (except for Transmet, that is in the f#$%ing top 3 damnit).
