A Martian Manhunter movie focusing on his early time staying on Earth and the different personas he used
Off THEIR Minds: What Comic Character Should be in a Movie?
The Flash, for sure. That's a character, if done right on screen, would be really compelling and exciting. But it has to be done right. Not GL style...
Does anyone remember back in the 2004-05 era days when Ryan Reynolds was rumored to be playing the Flash? I don't know if he would've been Barry or Wally, though.
I think The Bishop/Cable/Sentinel story should erase the "3rd trimester abortion" known as X3...and the second half of the Wolverine movie too. Lol
Age of Apocalypse with Archangel story arc.
I think it would be difficult to upstage the grandeur of any of the Infinity events. Similar to the Avenger Movie; if a trailer was on TV showing the “commercial” popular characters (Spiderman, Wolverine, Hulk, Ironman, Captain America, Silver Surfer, Doctor Doom, X-men…) all in the same movie…GEEZ! There are so many issues with this happening like different movie companies having rights, not having background for all characters yet, and they would probably write wolverine ending up with the gauntlet or something silly like that, because he is popular. A Sin Cityish frame-by-frame or a two part movie would be cool. Maybe, about 10 years down the road…We may need to see Captain Marvel, Warlock, and Thanos in a version of the Cosmic Cube saga, first. Maybe, showing Captain Marvel die…NOT by cancer (lame), but Death herself making an appearance to, personally, retrieve his soul. (grand-scale)
Joe Quasada ( Chief Creative Officer with an emphasis on the media division) Kevin Feige, and Jerry Calabrese all mentioned the “new/first” Guardians of the Galaxy, and specifically, Rocket Raccoon, as being a worthy movie franchise. (Fingers all crossed really hard)
Joe Mad’s Battle Chasers and Darksiders are perfect for movie adaptations…as long as he is a large part of the design process.
Black Panther, Moon Knight, X-Force in some form the kill squad one, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, & I guess Street Fighter as long as it was done accurately (no gaseous or flash of fireballs like DBZ Evolution or JCVD version) it's not hard to pull off Ryu's signature move. Thundercats & Voltron would be cool Thundercats would be CGI blended with live-action & Voltron I guess CGI as long as the people looked realistic
Wonder Woman!!!
The Birds of Prey!!! Young Justice, Zatanna!!!
And maybe another couple X-Men movies that doesn't feature an overused character like Wolverine/Storm/Magneto/etc, and isn't a lame character like Angel Salvadore/Riptide/etc.
Herbie Popnecker - obese boy who gets different superpowers from each lollipop. His catch phrase is "you want I bop you with this here lollipop?".
SECONDED!!!

There IS one movie that could eclipse all others if presented in the right light.
SHAZAM!
Make one for joker, The Killing Joke. Where he falls into a chemical plant and turns crazy and permawhite.
Personally, on the Marvel side of things, I'd like to see them get off their collective duffs and make that "Immortal Iron-Fist" movie they were talking about a while back. Danny Rand deserves his day in the limelight, as does his girlfriend, Mercedes "Misty" Knight (yes, I know they're in "time-out" right now, but I still have hope for those two :D).
On the DC side, I would love the heck out of a movie about Zatanna. It would be interesting to see how they would script all of her backwards spell-speak, and as long as they got a good actress who can not only look the part but actually act (not Megan Fox, dang it), it would do every well.
Aside from those two of "The Big Four," I'd be interested in seeing a movie about Gen13. The cartoon that Warner Bros. did was very good for starters, but I would like to see one where they stayed true to the original content, and managed to give all of the team equal coverage, not just Caitlin, Roxy, and Grunge.
For DC comics - Flash, Vixen, Wonder Woman (that doesnt suck), and Zatanna.
For Marvel - Darkhawk, The X-Men (A movie that stays true to the comics), Psylocke, and ........thats it.
Image Comics - The Witchblade, The Darkness, and any of the Artifact bearers.
Aspen Comics - Aspen Matthews (Fathom), Soulfire
IDW - Godzilla (That actually looks like Godzilla)
Agree with ALPHA FLIGHT AND CHEW!!
- Darkwing Duck
- Flash
- Alpha Flight
- Atomic Robo
- Terry Moores Echo
- Nightwing
- Invincible
- Chew
- The Boys
I think Chew is being developed for TV by the same guys who did walking dead tv show.
Like to add
1. Y the last man (HBO series not a Movie)
2. Unwritten (also Series)
I basically see any Verigo book as a series and not movies ha ha
Captain Marvel(Shazam), Franklin Richards, Shocker, Electro, the Flash, the Question, Green Arrow, Diablo(Esteban De Ablo), Black Adam, Black Panther, Professor Miles Warren(the Jackal), the Tinkerer, Zoom, the Skrulls, Mr. Fear(Zoltan Drago), Agent Pratt, the Leader, Madame Masque, Lucia Von Bardas, She Hulk
This could've been an interesting video if you'd cut all the people just shamelessly promoting their own stuff and asked the others WHY they'd like to see their characters of choice in movies.
Also, it seems like they mostly just hate this question for one reason or another.
I would like to see a brittish Psylocke movie.
She is a succesfull model. Gets her powers. Loses her parents mysteriously.
Needs to live with her brothers in that big braddock mansion. She gets recruited by STRIKE.
Is send undercover into the original London Hellfire Club.
The Inner Sanctum of the club is controled by the newly immigrated Egypian businessman Amal Faruk (Shadow King).
Some hints of the Akkaba Clan/Apocalypse and the Phoenix conccection to the Hellfire club.
London Gets Crazy because of the Influence of the Shadow King.
At the end the unexperienced Psylocke beats the Shadow King on the Astal Plane. I think that would look awesome in a movie.
Or an Uncanny X-Force Movie.
ALL THE YES IN THE WORLD. I would watch it continuously until I started scaring the people working at the movie theater and was forced to leave.@Arkham J said:
How about a Secret Six movie....i think that'd be awsome
As for other movies, a Wonder Woman movie following the Perez origin is definitely at the top of my list. A Martian Manhunter flick could be pretty cool as well, but it would completely depend on how the writers/directors handle it - I'd love to see a sort of noir-ish film that's reminiscent of his origin story in New Frontier.
I love all these answers by the creators. Although I would say seeing Rocket Raccoon or Peter Porker the Amazing Spider-Ham would totally rule. Anthropomorphic Comic characters would be a blast on the movie screen. OK, I am in the minority but I love Joe Quesada's answer simply because it would be different and fun. Although Howard the Duck ruined any chances of that ever happening! A big YES to Captain Marvel as well. There are so many characters that would do well as movies, I think.
I wanna see The Shadow done the RIGHT way in a movie. Not the mediocre attempt made in 1994 staring Alec Baldwin, blech! A decent Shadow movie I think is what is needed. Who's with me?
Hawkeye
He's been in one.
:P
Completely changing the subject, have you read Hawkeye: Blindspot?
Flash Wonder Woman the QuestionIf they can't pull off any of the above characters I don't really want to see anyone in any sort of movie, tbh.
the QuestionI would absolutely love to see this (Vic's one of my all-time favorites and Renee's way up there), but I can see people getting confused because he's so similar to Rorschach. And yes, I know Rorschach is based on Vic, but Watchmen is way more popular than The Question will ever be.
