Bambi's mom dying was pretty sad. Then again, so was Mufasa's death.

Almost all of the scenes in The Fox And The Hound. That film leaves me in tears every time.

When Harambe died.

Mufassa's death. When I was like five I couldn't watch that film at all.

The Fox and the Hound is all full of sadness.

Toy story 3 would be my pick, that movie made me legit teary eyed. Of these though Lion King, I've noticed older folks tend to say Bambi fwiw but that's not here either.

Fox and the Hound by far. I was never traumatized by Mufasa's death as a kid.

Dumbo is pretty brutal, but I don't think you can top Nani singing Aloha 'oe to Lilo when she's going to be taken away the next day by child protective services.

Fox and the Hound is the only Disney movie I won't watch specifically because of how sad it is.

Where is Up? That was the saddest.

While all the others are touching, the dynamics of F&H stand apart from all the others listed.

It wasn't just about loss of a friend/family/pet it was nature&norms (dogs hunt fox) vs. friendship (cooper & tod)

Mufasa's death is bad, but I stopped watching Fox and the Hound as a kid because of how depressing it was. It wins for sure.

The movie starts with the train and the castle and the fireworks and when you wish upon a staaar...

I'd probably still cry if I ever watched dumbo again
