Better writing, Batfleck was great in BvS but however good he was, was cancelled out by how bad Eisenberg was

Man of Steel had a tighter plot and the dram felt real. BvS didn't have real drama until doomsday appeared, and that was 2 hours into the movie.

BvS for me. More story driven and Ben Affleck was great as Batman.

MoS.

MoS is the superior film by far. There is no argument.

I liked both but Eisenberg almost made me hate Batman v Superman

Nah, seriously, I enjoyed MoS way more, BvS had a lot of moments where I was getting really bored.

There's nothing to discuss or to end, MoS was a much better film. BvS too all that set up and then set it on fire. While MoS has a few structural flows and could have had a few scenes either changed or added, BvS is a page on rewrite. Everything in that movie fails to live up to the potential of whatit could have been

End this? I didn't know it was a debate. MOS is obviously superior.

Man of Steel easy.

MoS was a much more well structured and well edited film. BvS has some high points that are pretty good, but it's muddied by so many technical flaws that it's significantly held back. It also failed as a follow up film to MoS because it sacrificed so much of Superman's story on building up Batman.

If we had gotten MoS 2 before BvS like was originally planned until MoS 2 was transformed into BvS both movies would have benefited. MoS would have the follow up movie it deserves to finally bring our Superman to where he needs to be as a symbol and as a character and BvS would be able to comfortably focus more on Batman without hindering Superman's character arc, and the final battle would have had waaaaay more emotional impact as we'd be losing a character we've grown to like over the course of three movies.

But the mad dash toward the Batman money maker ended up causing the entire franchise to suffer. Warner Brothers' greed cost them in artistic quality.

MoS hands down. It was actually pretty good. It didnt get crapped on because it was bad it got crapped on because there was a lot of civilian casualties and superman killed zod but it was good and i was ok with both supposed flaws in MoS. Two gods fighting is gonna have collateral damage amd superman had to kill zod.

While I like the ultimate edition of BvS just a bit more, I think MoS is the better movie overall, as it suffered far less from studio over-interference. Hopefully, now after how badly the theater versions of BvS and to an extent Suicide Squad did, WB has learned to back off a bit and let the people they hired to make their movies actually do their jobs the way they would do it. Especially with Wonder Woman and Justice League coming up, two movies that could either save the DCEU or deal it a massive blow (hopefully it is the former).

Anyway, I vote BvS. I know BvS is juggling more stories, but I honestly think it's structurally better than MoS, which had terrible pacing in the first two halves.

Also, BvS has a much better last 5 minutes.
