Madoka recreates an entire universe. She killed the witch version of herself with the power to destroy the universe. She changed the very physic laws of the universe, and omnipresent. She knows everything in every timeline. She's basically God of the new universe she created, but it comes at a cost since she's no longer a physical being and everyone forgot who she is.

It's a deconstructed show, it's aimed at adult men, it gets pretty dark where there's suicide, decapitation, group suicide, mercy killing, etc. They're being written by the guy who wrote Fate/Zero.
