That got dark quick (pun intended)
Justice League Dark- Clip
Oh wow. That DID get dark quick.
Just the kind of story I'd expect. I am way more excited for this movie now.
Ooh, Constantine will be making an appearance! Awesome.
He is one of the main characters of the movie, not just an appearance.
Awesome
Now THAT looks good
UPDATE: I watched it last night and it was pretty damn good. John and Zantanna were the stars, Batman grunted a lot and there was a good amount of violence not suitable for young children.
I have now also seen Justice League: Dark. It was very solid. Batman's presence was pretty pointless but he was still enjoyable.
Absolutely loved seeing Swamp Thing, even if he wasn't around as much as I would like.

I saw it as well. I liked the movie; it was another good animated movie delivered by DC. Constantine was great and Batman had a more light and humorous side to him which is nice to see. His presence seemed quite pointless at times but he did come in handy during certain altercations. I recommend it.
@lvenger: I've personally preferred the new52 movies especially this one, Damian is shoved down our throats too much though
@royal_warrior: That's one of the reasons I don't prefer the New 52 movies. Along with the grim dark edge all their films, stories and characters are filled with.
I'll be glad when the DC Animated movies let go of the New 52 edge in their movies and go back to what made them good in the first place.
The "New 52 Edge" works really well for this one though. The characters and story are on the darker side of the DC Universe already, and really benefited from some of that grim edge that seems out of place for say, Superman or Green Lantern.

From what I've heard and seen of that edge, it goes way off the deep end. Especially the bit about Batman and the JLD fighting a literal **** monster.
I hate how wonder Woman just jumped straight into magic... the movie wasted a perfectly good opportunity to investigate the cause of the situation rather than jumping to the "it's magic" conclusion.
It's not a big issue to me... just saying.
Movie only has so much run time and honestly I feel like it was rushing bits just to fit it all in as is. I am more confused why Batman is such a skeptic when he works with a demigoddess and a child empowered by a wizard's lightning.
Oh great another robin :(
4:21 Looks like Batman found a new Robin...
Beat you to it lol
Well, he DOES beat people up a lot. Or the spirit was just messing with him.
I'm watching it now and did Batman just beat green lantern??? A green lantern who wasn't holding back... Who literally punched him in the face and he was still alive???
Will probably be crap like the rest of the New 52 DC animated movies.
Do you take that back in retrospect?
Batman tends to do that. He stole Hal's ring in the Justice League movie, I am guessing they are drawing from that.
@beast_mode999:LOL fuck

Yea I'm having trouble accepting that... He should not have been able to survive any attack from GL
Its sad that so much happened in this movie but instead of talking about that this place is discussing Batman stealing a GL ring and all its improbabilities even though its happened in the comics and there's a precedent for it in this very universe. How about we talk about Zatanna,Deadman, Constantine and Etrigan or even Destiny instead of grasping at straws over a non entity that was Batman.
I thought it was the best JL movie in this universe and the edge actually worked well in this one. It was slow at the start but it picked up eventually. Though Swamp Thing was wasted imo.
Wait... So batman is going to hell when he dies??? Deadman did say they drag people to hell.
That would make for a pretty cool story, TBH. Like, Batman gets hit by a truck while busting a robbery, or dies in an explosion, and his spirit ends up going to hell, so the whole story is him trying to figure out how to avoid this fate and get to heaven instead. Or his body is in a critical condition, and Alfred is going on his own wild adventure to save Bruce's life, while Bruce is dodging demons in purgatory.

It's not so much that Batman stole John's ring, it's that Batman fought a Green Lantern in a fistfight. That's...well, silly. That's like Daredevil getting into fisticuffs with Abomination.
And hell, I thought Batman stealing John's ring was badass, I just wish they did in a less stupid way.
@theamazingspidey: I haven't seen it yet.

Well, reception has been positive as a whole and I can speak for myself when I say it's decent.
@theamazingspidey: I'll wait and judge it for myself. If it at least has cool fight scenes then that's all I care about. Not expecting an engaging story.

That's a good mentality to watch the movie by. Story is generic, disposable mediocrity, fight scenes are very good.

This would actually terrify me beyond no end lol. The concept of hell terrifies me with the eternal torment and suffering deal.
But yes this would be badass IF its rated R... and I don't mean like the Killing Joke... I mean like rated R rated R
