Is Young Justice overrated?
I don't think so. It has some of THE best characterizations of any animation franchise this side of Avatar:TLAB, decent animation, good fight scenes, and compelling stories. The hype is deserved (though I thought there were a few issues with the last season, it was still very good).

I've never seen anyone overrate it.
I don't know if its overrated, but I haven't been able to get fully invested into it like past DC cartoons.
I don't think anyone thinks it's the best thing ever, or atleast not in huge numbers, so I don't think so. I liked the show, but I can see why it didn't do well with kids, the show was a bit too dry and serious to appeal to them.
@asgardianbrony: JL and JLU were better than EMH, but EMH is definitely top 10 best comic book adaptations.
No.
Incidentally, it's better than any animated series Marvel has ever put out, with the exception of maybe X-Men the animated series.
Yes
It's not even near the best of the DC animated shows.
Depends, If you don't like it then you may think its overrated. If you like it then you may think its not overrated
Honestly, no. The show is really good with an interesting plot and general mix to the story. I like how the justice league is also a major part of it unlike the teen titan franchise.
Yes
It has it's admirable traits and is a good series, but so so many characters are completely mischaracterized

Aw come now, these 2 were awesome
@ganon15: Yes but Conner's real character is just as cool (and much less mopey), and the characters Artemis is meant to be based on (since the real Artemis aka Tigra is a villain) are also great.
I accept YJ as an alternate interpretation of the characters, but it's still hard to get over some of the blatant misinterpretations
Kind of. The main characters weren't... really... that... distinct... As the spiritual successor to Teen Titans (excluding LoS) this is it's weakest point.
Also I was quite a big fan of Mia Dearden when the show started and resented her being shafted for this non-Amazonian Artemis chick.

Also ^this^ rubbed me the wrong way. Especially Oliver - why in the blue hell was he portrayed like that...?
@saintwildcard: the show did do well with kids. The reason it was cancelled was because of toy sales and appealing to a female demographic which WN didn't want.
@agent_z: toy sales is true, female demographic isn’t
Brutally overrated. Is it a bad show? Hell no. Pretty good even. Buts it's brutally overrated by fanboys.
This:
No, it deserves all it's praise.
but also a shameless bump for season 3
No. It's a great show and I honestly prefer it over some other breath DC shows, but I think. It peaked at season 1, the time skip really hurt the show season 2 was a bit weak.
Season 3 is okay so far but animation looks a bit cheaper, too much unnecessary Blood so if they ever did want to air it again it would need to be heavily edited
One of the best comic book shows of all time imo
this one the reason i like dc is this show
