Is Tim Cavanugh going be Merelyn of the Flash?

@staticdwanyemcduffie: Tom's characters are not switching sides as he play different versions of the same character but yeah he is a main in season 3. He is a good actor but the novelty him playing different versions of Wells is wearing thin.

I hope he doesn't turn into Merlyn. He went from being a great character to being utterly useless.

Nah. The Flash writers know what they're doing, I can't say the same for Guggenheim and his crew. Both versions of Wells have been awesome so far, and neither stuck around too long.

No he actually has an important role. He's playing a completely different character with different motivations so it works. Merlyn just ran out of things to do, he didn't even have a plot this year because there's nowhere else to go with him really. Wells in various iterations still has tons of places to go.

Nope, Wells is genuinely trying to help flash, while Merlyn has overstayed his welcome, and they don't know what to do with him.

Wouldn't he be the John Barrowman of Flash? Gnerally I'm more worried they force the reverse flash in every season.

The best move, they could make is to have the Reverse Flash as a different person, while keeping Tom. Merlyn is annoying because he was an awesome bad guy and he was turned into a plot device for the heroes.

I got tired of Merlyn in Season 3. I don't think I'll ever get tired of Tom Cavanagh.

They did this and I am happy. We had an awesome Reverse Flash on Legends while having Tom in Flash. The reputation of RF is intact.
