Is it worth it? Can I possibly read my Ghost Riders, Werewolf by Night, Secrete Wars, and Marvel Dracula by chance?

Is there better overall alternatives?

@sirfizzwhizz: it has pretty much everything you could want. Especially newer stuff.

If you have to pay for it then it isn't worth it.

I only buy trades when on sale. I hate buying single issues.

You can read almost any comic or manga for free on various websites, but if you'd rather pay, then comixology is the best option.

I still think that paying $3-4 for a digital comic is absurd, though.

Yeah I tried it, and thought the "unlimited" would be a good deal, but what I can read from that is limited as shit. I dont think its worth it.

@sirfizzwhizz: works for me. I go between digital and physical and it's convenient. I can hear about a book from someone and check it out without the trip to the store.

You have to pay for the issues but not for Comixology itself?

Comixology is great. I wouldn't recommend "Comixology Unlimited" though.

Because it still doesn't have much to read and more importantly because the creators themselves don't get a share.

People make fun of people paying for comics, music, books, and mangas. The reality is if someone doesn't pay companies will stop making the product. So...seriously can it.

@sirfizzwhizz: oh, you were talking about Comixology Unlimited?? That's NOT worth it as all they have is Indie stuff.

But if you just want to buy comics, I'd say go through them. Just not subscription wise.

@sirfizzwhizz: Yes. But if you're looking to buy volumes or other trades check Amazon (which now owns Comixology), and Barnes and Noble. Chances are those two will have lower prices, also if you've got a decent library in the area look into Overdrive.
