Honestly, I would have checked it out in the past, but if we just have her show up again, after what the ending of secret wars should have meant in that regard, its kinda annoying. If the previous imply something of interest maybe.

Maybe, but the way marvel mangles characters... After Storm's solo I think they are just looking for a woman title to throw out there just to have a woman title on the market.

@mark_stephen: I can't agree more. Although Invisible Woman usually has a more "living" character and adventurous at times. This seller could be bomb. We'll find out.

Forgot about that. Marvel just threw that thing out there with no advertising, hype, nothing. It was asking to fail. I hope they don't do something that stupid again.

I'd get it if the creative team was solid.

I don't think that they were that against the idea of it succeeding, but they made the mistakes you'd expect. Storm does have a lot of potential, but then most marvel characters do, they just don't have the writing talent and the patience to bring it all out.

I can't see an Invisible Woman book getting many sales.

Tbh I doubt it will fly, because I really can't think of any characters that are more dependent on being part of a team than the core members of the Fantastic Four... because it's an actual family, with a pet rock monster.

I can see why people think that. But she is also the only FF member that hasn't really had much of a focus on. She's kind of a blank slate character wise, a writer could have a lot to play with. The only fundamentals to her character is she loves her family, and she's a good person. If Ben, Johnny and Reed can go on other teams and stuff, then I see no reason why she can't go out on her own.

But thats the difference, they joined other teams, while the rumor here is that she is going solo.

Yeah, but there's no harm in trying and seeing if it sticks. Much worse characters have gotten chances.It might surprise some people.

Anyway, this is a rumor right now. It might not even be happening.

Eh, but she's a side-character. Rather see classic F4 come back. As in NOT Future Foundations with all the dipshit kids roaming around.

Or go Old Sue with her son, learning how to control his celestial-like power. Why always the same?

I'd read. Especially if Namor is in it.
