If Hyperion sunbathed, would that have the same effect as Superman?

Now as a Marvel fanboy, I'd like to know this. Say Hyperion would be sunbathing in the 616-sun, would he get cosmic powers? Would it have the same mysterious phenomena as Superman?

Probably not - here's my reason - in the history of science fiction - comic book - superhero stories - anyone with energy absorbing powers has always and will always have a limit to how much energy they can hold before they lose their shit - which actually makes perfect sense and is logical - except when that person is Superman - in which case he seems to be capable of absorbing infinite amount of energy for no reason at all - so the only way I see Hyperion doing that is if they give him one of the shittiest of the shitty writers out there - .::

As an eternal he should be able to sundip in any body of cosmic radiation
