If Broly is weaker than Buu....

How come Broly destroys planets with literally no chargeup of power like Kid Buu did.

Broly even destroyed a galaxy in his Base form. Any proof Buu is stronger?

Also Kid bu has a galaxy destroying feat in the anime as well.

busting planers easily doesn't mean anything, even Frieza can do that.

Cause Buu likes to go overkill

Buu because he will always regenerate and come for more...Although Broly will increase his power while fighting he will eventually be tired because he cant fight forever like Buu...I also think that Broly cant create energy beam powerful enough to erase him from existance...Now before anyone starts to bash me because of his galaxy feat i will just remind you that is AOE feat...

Buu did that by going around destroying planet by planet. Broly, in a restricted state, oneshotted a galaxy with a single blast. Buu's power is nothing compared to Broly's.

There is no difference between the two feats

@emperorthanos: Technically Broly only lost to Goku by a plot device. He could have quite easily oneshotted all of the Z Fighters based on how little pause they gave him.

Kid Buu could stomp SSJ GOKU, Gohan and Goten.

@emperorthanos: It was SSJ2 Gohan, and I'm not sure if he could overpower them all at the same time. Though yes, he would beat them as Broly would have had it not been for Trunks playing the plot device role.

dragonball movies don't follow the tv and manga logic.

@juiceboks: With his showings, I'd say the plot device is the Legendary Super Saiyan. It's not really worth our time if the heroes don't have a little challenge (think Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!). Broly is the plot device.

I'm not blind. He is very clearly moving around like a busy body and destroying individual planets, even right in front of the screen. And the galaxy in the back seems to practically melt in random areas until it is finally gone, while Broly straight up blew it up from the middle. Therefore, we already know the methods of the galaxy destruction, which hasn't changed. Finally, the time it took to perform those feats. Unlike Buu, Broly is only 30 years old, so we have a very specific time frame limit for how long it took for Broly to do anything. Buu is over 5 million years old, so he logically can do exactly what I just said from the beginning, which btw doesn't require anything more than solar system-busting power.

@xlr87t3: There was no time frame givin from Buu. We see the galaxy bust. Broly didn't even destroy that galaxy, there were still planets present when they went there. The galaxy being destroyed was mistranslation it was just under attack. The entire movie takes place in that supposedly destroyed galaxy and we still stars and planets.

Broly did the same thing Buu did. The galaxy didn't disapperar all at once it got destroyed bit by bit. Just from the middle. It didn't just vanish.

@emperorthanos:The reason there was no time frame for Buu was because, again, it was done over many many years and the exact number of years is relatively pointless when it's pretty freaking obvious that what Buu did did not take even 5 years to complete, let alone a single day like Broly. Buu had a extremely long life, so we can be liberal with the logical estimates. Also, unlike Buu, Broly was effortlessly thrashing all the DBZ fighters like red headed stepchildren, because he's so much more powerful than them that it's comedy, while Buu was only a serious problem because of his regeneration which made him nigh-invincible. Without the regeneration, Buu is not much stronger than Goku, who had him on his toes in their last battle.

Are yous eriously comparing their fights. The Z fighters Buu fought were leagues ahead of the people Broly.

There was no time frame given for broly as well. He didn't even destroy the galaxy completely, seeing as there were still planets and stars remaining.

@emperorthanos: Actually there was a time frame for Broly: 0-30 years. Broly was a young adult when he destroyed the southern galaxy, so it is more like 18-25 years old to 30 years; a 5-12 year time frame for him. And that's not counting all the events that transpired after Broly did that feat, which would take roughly a year. So even if you lowball to the max and say he did it over time, using the evidence it would only take very few years to destroy the southern galaxy, while Buu has 5 million years to do what he wants until he gets killed by Goku's spirit bomb. And that brings me to another point: speed. Broly is not particularly fast, and he does not know Instant Movement/Transmission. He is mostly a bruiser and a tank, like the Juggernaut of DBZ. So that automatically annihilates any arguments that Broly destroyed the galaxy over time rather than an AoE ki blast. Buu is notoriously fast and agile, a slippery little guy that can teleport practically anywhere. So let's see, Fast character? Check. Teleportation? Check. All the time in the word? Check. The evidence is clear.

Concerning Broly not "completely" destroying it, even if there were a thousand stars left that would still amount to crumbs on an empty. Rubble after the nuke.

On topic, Buu would one shot this monkey. The difference in power is so huge, it's not even funny. Broly is nowhere near Buu saga SSJ3 tier

Buu is clearly more powerful.

IIRC King Kai asked Goku to take care of Broly in Hell along with Pikkon back in hell at the end of Bio-Broly. While concerned, Goku wasn't too worried considering that he decided to finish his meal before leaving. If the movies (though non-cannon) are supposed to coincide with the arcs then 2 MSSJ level fighters from Buu arc like Goku or Vegeta should be enough to take him. Or maybe even a fighter of SSJ2 Goku or SSJ2 Majin Vegeta's caliber if it's supposed to be 1-on-1.
