After the credits, we see a wide shot of Xandar before it switches to the vault where the orb is being kept. There's a loud explosion and the vault is destroyed. A blue-skinned alien in a white uniform and his guards walk into the scene. The alien picks up the orb and examines it for a moment before calmly walking out into the hall where he's confronted by Nova Prime (Irani Rael).
"You won't get away with this," Rael says angrily.
The alien merely examines the orb and gives her a calm look. "Oh, but I will. Thanos's forces approach as we speak."
Just then, alarms start going off. Swarms of ships descend on Xandar as Rael looks out the window in horror.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" the alien says, joining her at the window to watch the invasion. "War is a work of art. A true masterpiece."
