greatest villain ever.

I'm a Marvel fanboy and even I'm going with Darksied for this one, he now only accomplished a lot, he's beaten his hero on quite a few occasions and only really loses because he underestimates everybody

After reading it, I wouldn't call Lucifer a villain. If he's allowed though, I'd pick him.

That depends. For overall badass I'd pick Thanos or Doctor Doom. If we're talking about a true staple in villainy that is extremely powerful and has accomplished alot with their own abilities, then I'd pick Darkseid. For iredeemable monsters I'd pick the Joker.

I would probably go with Joker. Not because of popularity but because he truly is an amazing character.

Thanos after reading his profile on the vine and finding out the only reason he hasnt conquer/killed everything in the universe is because he purposely makes his plan with a way to  be stopped.this man could have killed everything on more than one occasion if he truelly wanted to.

Satan. He's the villain archetype.

Magneto Causes you can almost understand why he does what he does. it's almost justified .    

Cell....even if this is'ent animevice he is my favorite villian from any fiction.

Im a Big Marvel fan but for me The Joker just has an aura about him.

Darkseid is the embodiment of Evil

Satan as seen in literature(not just comics) would be the greatest villain of all time. Not only is he insanely evil and powerful, but he's also been a huge influence on many villains that have come after him.

You have been wrongly informed. I am working on a PHD in (3)history. He was neither obsessed with occultism nor possessing the spear. In fact just where and (1)if the spear existed is open to debate. At the present moment, (2)there are at least 5 relics in different locations that all claim to be the true spear of destiny, none of them have been proven as so.  This alleged obsession of Hitler with occultism is also not true. It's reconstrutivist history propagated by pop culture. In fact Hitler suppressed occult groups during his reign. He outlawed the Free-Masons and had 80 000 of them executed because he believed they were in league with the Jewish  people he was also determined to wipe out.   More important, he even suppressed the Thule Society, a german/austrian occult group that not only supported and believed his ideology but also worked to propagate it and empower it. This despite the fact that many of his early supporters were members.   He professed on more then one occasion that mysticism and religion must take second place to loyalty and determination to serve the new Reich. Hitler was not an occult nut. Just a evil, murdering, incompetent leader with lots of charisma. Part of the reason the Axis actually lost was that at some point he took over military strategy from his very competent generals to plan for himself. "

I'm sorry but I call Hitler an evil person with every fiber of my body. It doesn't matter if he believed himself good or if other people agreed with him. To me his actions make him unilaterally evil.
