Looks very cool, although I defiantly think the car clashes with the theme going on here, it's too bulky. Other then that though looks really good.

I'm always down for a comic with speed, this should be interesting. Glad Smith's still writing, I love how strong his work is despite being minimalistic.

I feel the same, having a bunch of Ghost Riders together could have opened up so many options and they choose a death race? I can't see how that can progress beyond the first race's end.

As with throwing cannons on top of everything to make it more awesomer, it just left me with a feeling of meh. The Blindfolded-Centaur-with Miniguns, was the silliest of the lot.

It's not for me, but there's lots of others who seem to be looking forward to it, so good on them!

I like that they're making an effort to pull in those outlier characters like Robbie Reyes, for this event and not just sweeping them under a rug until they can be bothered to do something with them, if they even decide to.

Imma be honest, I fully expected characters like Robbie Reyes to just sort of disappear in the wake of Secret Wars (that's not to say it can't still happen, I guess, but at least there'll be some semblance of closure if it comes to that).

huh...i mean...HUH? I hope the writer won't write like charles soule who basicly don' know much about character history then did wrong just about everything...still hard to believe going to see Alejandra "Jones" again (IT'S JONES ,NOT BLAZE Dammit ,she is not JB's sister or something)

How is a death race NOT the most appropriate Battleworld situation for a bunch of Ghost Riders?

Well they can actually be Spirits of Vengeance and right wrongs around the place in an unstoppable flaming road-train of destruction for one thing.

Just having them race and fight each other just seems lazy writing to me. Even if they were in a Deathrace (tm.) against some evil-doers it'd be a bit better.

I guess I'm just sick of hero vs hero battles.

I also don't get how people hate on the Secret Wars books. Come on, these things all seem really awesome. Gladiator Captain America riding Devil Dinosaur in an endless crusade against a country full of Hulks? HOW AWESOME IS THAT??? All the Ghost Riders (old ones, and they have basically said new ones will show up if you read the interview) you can imagine racing each other? DANNY F%$$ing Ketch? I'M SOLD! With Secret Wars, I believe Marvel is finally doing something special. After it's all said an done, they'll take everything in a new direction, implement things from alternate universes, and hopefully keep the fans happy with self-contained stories, and maybe they'll hold off on having 2 events every year to one BIG event 2-3 years....events don't sell as well as they used to, so Marvel should consider this

One of the Ghost Riders' is a centaur with mini-guns. Yep that makes sense.

I haven't read any of the current Ghost Rider stuff with Reyes. Just not interested in it. However if you're going to do a Ghost Rider Secret Wars tie in a Death Race seems like the best way to go. I doubt this will move the story of Secret Wars along in any way, but it looks like a fun read. All the Riders battling it out in a race to the death. I added literally every Secret Wars and Convergence book to my pull list Wednesday at my Local CB shop. I won't buy every one, but at least I'll have them all set aside so I can cherry pick which 1s I'll be buying. I would get them all if I could, but I just don't have the time to read more than 7-10 books a week :(

I think that long-haired guy in the red cycle is supposed to be Kenshiro (I could be wrong, though)...Still, this is really badass!

What I'm getting at is I think it'd be better if the Ghost Riders all teamed up to battle everyone else on Battleworld. Instead of fighting amongst themselves, they have more in common with each other so why fight? Every event in recent memory seems to be heroes fighting each other, despite being on the same team/ looking for the same thing.

Imagine the Riders fighting Dinosaur riding Captain America!

Also has anyone been reading the current Ghost Rider series? is it good? last series i read was that oen where they introduced a chick Ghost rider and then her series got cancelled and they turned her heel. it was mediocore.
