In season 10 the Buffyverse was introduced to a new breed of vampires when the rules of magic were changed.
These vampires are stronger.
Harder to stake.
Can shapeshift.
And most importantly, can move about during the day.
Nevetheless, they're not much of a problem for our heroes due to their years of experience fighting baddies. But what if these were the buffyverse vampires ever since season 1? What if these were the run-of-the-mill vampires Buffy fought every night in the cemetery? How far into the series would our heroes make it if this was the common threat?
