First look at Justice League Action!

Here ya go! The new Justice League cartoon.

I think it looks fantastic. Reminds me of JLU and not TTG which is good.

As I said elsewhere, it looks like it's aimed too much at kids for me to like it. I do however like how many characters from all around the DCU they're using.

I will give it a try. Do not like the drawings at all.

Animation looks really good in motion. Still not sure if this is going to be goofy like Teen Titans Go or straight-laced like Young Justice/Justice League....perhaps somewhere in the middle I guess

Not a fan of the animation, but the voice actor of Bolin is playing Firestorm so that's cool.

They're going to sell a lot of toys.

I hope to see Flash and G.L.

Outside of that it looks decent enough. I hope the tone works for me.

I wish it didn't bug as much as it does, but guys, it's not the animation, it's the character design.

Not really, but might tried it. I hated Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Steven universe since it look stupid and aim at kid. Now that I gave them a chance, I love those shows. So why not, is not TTG

Looks really good imo. I have a bit of a problem with the art style but the show's cast seems good and it's good to have JL back on TV. Wish it doesn't end up like Teen Titans Go.

Context

Seems somewhat kid-oriented for my taste but I will give it a shot.

Is that commercial free? If so it's about half a full episode which clocks in at an average 20-22 minutes. I could see concise storytelling and multiparters as needed allowing that to be decent.

What context is needed? It seems Superman and Batman are throwing down yet again, and regardless of why, I'm tired of it. Been done to death.

If we absolutely have to have hero vs hero why not a Flash vs GL or Hawkman vs Aquaman or Plastic Man vs the Atom? Y'know, something different for a change.

I think it looks pretty good, and I'm usually a cynical person.

Not a fan of the animation, but I think it looks like it captures most of the spirit of the DCAU JL.

Seems a bit to kiddy for my taste and I'm not a fan of the art.

Looks waaayyy better than anything Marvel has currently. I'll just reserve my judgement until I can actually watch it though.

The art direction is terrible. It's almost too half-hearted and simplistic in my eyes. Oh well, whatever this generation of children will settle for.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about with this looking childish. The art looks really good now that it's in motion. We get actual action and stylized violence instead of them just cutting quickly away to a BIFF or POW or something else completely. The characters actually seem to be acting like adults (except for Plastic Man, of course), but adults who can take a joke and have fun with each other (while of course still being serious when needed hopefully). It has well known and loved characters and some more obscure ones that are not as well known. The characters look like they should (even Harley Quinn is back in her jester outfit). And wow! Around 0:45 they have a gun that shoots actual bullets! Because for some reason so many show think that just knowing that bullets exist will traumatize our youth so they replace everything with lasers.

I really hope this goes well. Honestly my only complaints with this trailer is that it has no Martian Manhunter (it feels like DC is trying to faze him out completely of the Justice League, which is a shame because for years he was the heart of the team) and Batman electrocuting Dex-Star (I like that cat).

Hey, the original JL cartoons were made for children but they still weren't as kiddy as this lol

@buttersdaman000: I don't like that reasoning, lol. Yes the original was mature, and so were the related shows cause they were all in the same universe. But not every show DC puts out has to be like that. The original Teen Titans were silly and no one said jack about that.

Exactly. I never said every show has to be the same as JL. I just said this new cartoon is too kiddy for me. You admit that a childrens show can be mature, which is the JL I like, but you also seem to mock the idea that people dislike this new show for not being mature. It's contradictory.

Also, I don't think the original TT was as kiddy as this. It had a slap happy type humor, but it also took itself seriously. From the vibe i'm getting from the JLA trailer, it's pure kiddy camp.

Ehhh I disagree. TT was like an anime to me, this show is just...a kiddy show. There was just a different vibe to TT that this show doesn't have.

Also the tone seems to be somewhere between Batman BATB and JLU and that's great imo.

This reminds me of Teen Titans (the good one). I'll give it a shot.

Not like TTGO or JLU but Batman B&B but with the Trinity as the main cast

I understand why DC has to resort to this kind of tone and direction for their shows. As someone said earlier in the comments this show would sell some good toys and that's what DC has to aim for sadly.
