well everyone has their own things that they are staying around for and they may not have anything at all to do with each other so there could be a bunch of characters who never even come into contact with one another."
Well, for example, the reason I'm staying behind is because I know who really killed me, and I don't want them to kill Moonchild. But, for evil people, something I would suggest is haunting a certain object or place. In anger of dying, or in need of vengeance, you haunt something dear to you and whoever comes in contact with it will get killed. That could bring others to them."
but we're all supposed to be dead right? so i guess whoever you came back to protect (moonchild) would have to come to where i haunt for you and me to come into conflict. but i'd have to hope you were going to write your story that way. cause as a villain, i would just be haunting whatever and if no hero was drawn to where i haunt, i wouldnt get to do anything."
Au Contrare. You haunt something, and you get to write how you kill them. See, like, every vengeful spirit is unique. They all stay behind for some reason, and that reason usually ties in to how they kill. Like, a little girl that killed people with a barber shaver thingie...after she died, her and her family haunted a painting. Everyone else tried to warn others and stop her, but she kept killing. (See episode Revenance of Supernatural)
And, like, I mean, I can hear of it too. Like, I see a news thing, or see it somewhere, and I somehow try and figure out a way to get Moonchild there. And, actually, I'm bringing the Winchester brothers into my story, and they are on the lookout for that stuff all the time. So, I follow them, and the story unravels.
