Drugs!

So I have just started watching Heros on dvd and was wondering if anyone knows a Hero in comics that uses or has to do durgs due to the powers they have.

So if they use it to deal with the power or to use the power etc..

um... for a major drugs storyline check Green Lantern / Green Arrow mid to late 80's...

i can't remember it off by heart but i'll hunt it down for you...

Speedy, Oliver Queens protoge, was a heroin addict...

Elongated Man had to take some kind of drug I think for his powers.

Patriot, Cloak, and Dagger were drug abusers

Robby Reynolds had to take a drug to become the Sentry

Harry Osborn. Don't think he got powers from it just did them.

Captain America = Steroids

Black Panther = Weed

Batman does yellow jackets.

I know Hank Pym has a "don't beat my wife" pill. Whether he's taking it or not is the question.

Wolverine does everything but can't feel it. But it gets him into Puffy's after party so you know.

Reminded me of a legitimate response to this thread. Miss Misery's powers allow her to get better (look prettier and be physically stronger/healthier) by doing things that are morally wrong. She abuses and kills people, sleeps with everyone, smokes, curses, lies, steals, betrays her friends, and (here comes the legitimate response) does drugs.

Hourman uses Miraclo to get superstrength for an hour. Both of them became addicted to it.

Wasn't there a girl in X-Statix that had to fuel her powers with alcohol?
