@shonen3: super saiyans are a race of warriors with zero regards to what they do. heck, if goku hadn't had his head bumped when he was a baby or vegeta eventually loving earth, both would have destroyed earth. if we backtrack the saiyan's history in the manga, there's literally zero reference of pure-hearted saiyan existing there since they are employed by freeza. we could surmise that they died out in an internal war judging with shenlong's story. incidentally, unlocking SSJ form required an extreme emotion and vegeta proved one can achieve that form thru sheer frustration.
there is only one planet vegeta and it was destroyed by freeza. they couldn't even travel out of space if they were not annexed by freeza's organization and an oozaru doesn't have the firepower to destroy a planet despite how many they are. they can wreck it but pulverize it ? impossible

This is based on what ? Source information we got from freiza and Vegeta who had warped views on what a saiyan warrior should be ? Goku was shown to be pretty non blood thirsty when he became a super saiyan.

To be fair the whole pure hearted saiyan was created for the movie,as a convenient plot device so obviously you wouldn't find it in the manga. Also the saiyans weren't rule by freiza their whole existence. It was stated that the saiyans came from another planet, that was destroyed by the super saiyan of legend. Some saiyans escaped and settled down on a planet called Plant, which had native inhabitants called the Tuffles. For years the Tuffle and Saiyans existed in somewhat hostile equlibrium with each other. Then the full moon came out and the saiyans wiped out the Tuffle, and renamed it Planet Vegeta. Some time later the saiyans began trading with another alien race and became space pirates for them in exchange for tech. However,this space group had some relationship with the space organization run by frieza. So eventualy the saiyans became part of the space organization.
To summarise. Their is a whole time period between the destruction of the saiyans original planet, and their time on plant. So their could have been pure hearted saiyans.

We could argue that the pure hearted saiyans were killed, or were losing the war to the evil saiyans on the original planet. With the loss of his comrades, the Super saiyan god transformed into a golden oozaru in a last ditch attempt to win. Thus, sparking the super saiyan legend.

Again the planet called vegeta was original planet Plant which were had original inhabitants called the Tuffles. The saiyans were not natives to the planet originally but came from somewhere else.
Saiyan home planet
An oozaru has the power to destroy a planet depending on the saiyan being a certain PL. DBZ works by powerlevels once a character X reaches a certain level they can destroy Y.Golden Oozaru who would be 500x stronger than base stats should more than enough be able to destroy planet, even if we assume the saiyan had the PL equivalent of raditz. Saying it doesn't without backing it up just makes the argument hollow.
