Poll Do you read Western comics? (10 votes)

Yes 40%
no 20%
only old westerns 0%
only new westerns 10%
would try one but haven't yet 30%

The Western genre has been doing really badly in the comics market for years and with DC having no westerns left running i got to wondering. What percentage of comic readers read western comics in general? We can easily find out from title to title just by looking at sales but how many want to read the genre? Is the fall of western comics really the result of a lack of readers of the genre or is it the quality/appeal of the titles that was at fault? Hopefully i can get enough responses to find out eh. So tell me do you read western comics?

lol, I thought you meant comics from the West( i.e American and Euro)

but no I don't think I've ever read a comic set in the "western" genre.

Only one I've ever read is a graphic novel adaptation of Django Unchained. Yeah, I think I'd enjoy one, I like westerns, but there aren't a lot anymore.

@mrmonster: Django had a Zorro comic crossover that is going to be adapted to a film in a few years after the new Zorro film comes out. If you liked the Django comic i'd definitely advise giving it a read.
