CM Punk is to the 21 century what Goldberg was in the 90s, the face of change, the failure of both show how outdated wrestling and the fact politics have more weight that making money.

Are you serious? Goldberg was talentless musclebound jock who literally had squash matches his entire career. When someone like Regal tried to give him a decent match, Regal was fired for it. Goldberg was a product of sheer politics and weight/height bias. The only thing he was the face of how to cheaply build a star.

CM Punk is a notorious douchebag in and out of the ring, something even Colt Cobana recognizes. The only way you could believe Punk as 'the face of change' was if you bought into his gimmick. Every single thing Punk ever did has been replicated and bettered somewhere else.

CM Punk got pushed against everything, was hated by HHH and still became a main event guy, he could be a jerk, but he did everything by himself, that was also one of the reasons people used to back up Ryder.

Goldberg was literally the companies biggest draw for years. They 'destroyed' him how? By making him actually finally lose? Goldberg couldn't carry the company out of a paper bag once his winning streak ended. He had no charisma, mic skills or wrestling talent to speak of and he only wrestled for the money.

Punk got pushed through pandering to the IWC, which payed off to him spending most of his title reign as an upper-mid card champion. Anyone who gets told off by the Undertaker for being unprofessional really shouldn't be the 'guy' in the company (which, in all fairness, Punk never was).

Reigns has little charisma or connection to the crowd, is mediocre in the ring and is only getting pushed because of his size and who his cousin is. The only reason he's as hot as he is right now is because he's being forced down our throats. In reality, they should position Ambrose at the top of the food chain or someone else who deserves it (such as Zayn or the like).
