Poll DC's Deadpool?? (82 votes)
So, Deadpool is one of Marvel's most popular characters right now, and with the movie out, his popularity is only growing, which leads me to ask, which character is DC's Deadpool? Hmm? HMMMM????
Harley Quinn.
Harley has always been a popular character, however, in the past few years (thanks in part to the success of her current ongoing) her popularity has skyrocketed. She's probably the most cosplayed female at comic conventions and her wackiness seems to be contagious. She is in the same vein as Deadpool as they both were obscure characters who gained great popularity due to their humor and moral ambiguity.
Deathstroke:
The "inspiration" behind Deadpool. There's no denying they have a lot in common, from rhyming names (Slade Wilson vs Wade Wilson), similar jobs as mercenaries and even similar costumes. DC has even poked fun at this by claiming Deadpool was Slade from an alternate dimension.
Lobo:
The Main Man was created as a parody of a 90s character (particularly Wolverine) just as Deadpool was. Lobo was 90s incarnate, the overly brutal, violent, chain smoking badass, who loved three things, his motorcycle, women, and violence. Coupled with a healing factor that may be even greater than Deadpool's, just like Mr. Wilson, he's thought to me, unkillable. Lobo shares a bit in common.
Ambush Bug:
A lesser known character, Ambush Bug is one of the few characters (along with Deadpool) who can break the Fourth Wall and acknowledge he's in a comic. Also like Deadpool...he's pretty nuts. His entire existence is also a parody, whether it comes down to his origins (a mash up of several other characters' origins) or his random nature, and ability to just kinda...show up places.
