DC cartoons you want to see next

I am liking DC Nation so far. I hope it expands to different corners of the DC Universe, and last at least as long, with at least as many cartoons as the ambitious DC Animated Universe had from the 90's to the mid 2000's. With the cartoons we have so far, there are at least 2 continuities in DC Nation.

Who from the DCU would you like to see star in their own cartoon? What team? Teen Titans excluded, because that is the Team in YJ, but they didn't name them.

My top 3 Choices are

Blue Beetle

Superman

Static Shock

I also wouldn't mind team cartoons like Doom Patrol and the Outsiders.

Superman and Justice League. I'm tired of Batman and Green Lantern already has a series. I don't think they'd make a cartoon based on anything else.

Batman's gotten like 4 series already, I think Superman is due for another.

The Flash would be great, I think the Rogues could be a hit with kids. You could also use awesome characters like Jay Garrick, Wally, Bart, Max Mercury, etc.

I'd also really like a Booster Gold show. Time traveling misadventures with Skeets, Rip Hunter, Goldstar, and Ted Kord would be great. You could also have him team up with multiple DC characters due to the time traveling aspect of the show.

Heck Yes for the Flash.

I would like an Aquaman show, with it focusing mostly in Atlantis and underwater. Him dealing with King duties like settling disputes between Atlantians and the occasional villians like King-Shark and Black Jack. With Black Manta and Ocean Master being the major villains for season 1 and 2.

I would also like a JLI/Outsiders TV show. Have it star the minor heroes of the DCU. Have the characters mention the Justice League on occasion. These are the heroes that the justice league didn't allow on the team for one reason or another and these heroes formed there own team to deal with the threats the Justice league passes up.

I would also like it if every once and a while, they to be facing a villain and the Justice League shows up and takes over the situation which causes strain between the Outsiders/JLI and the Justice League

I would like it's founders to be:

Guy Gardner: Angry that Hal and John are in the League and not him.

Booster Gold: No longer a sell out, but with that reputation following him, the League won't accept him.

Nightwing and Red Arrow: Trying to avoid being in their mentors shadow by founding there own team.

Black Lightning and Starfire: Not allowed on the league because they had killed before. Even if they don't kill now.

I think superman needs a new show. If they made an aquaman show I would watch it. But, DC only cares about batman now, which is why they're making The "Beware the Batman" show which im not looking forward to because

1. It has a stupid name

2. They're replacing robin with some random charecter named Katana

3. They're using dumb CGI

4.They're using D-list villians like Humpty Dumpty

5. The creators said that they believe Bruce only uses the batman persona as "me" time

spinoffs of Young Justice...or just animated series set in the same universe....I feel that a new Justice League series set in the same universe would work very well...especially since it could carry over plots established in Young Justice...like when Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and others had to leave Earth to deal with what they did during the missing 16 hours that could have been handled in a Justice League show

I am glad GL fans can be able to say their favorite character has a cartoon. Katana isn't that random. Batman has partnered with her on occasion. When he led the outsiders. I am not liking DC's infatuation with Batman, though.

Superman definitely needs a new show. The show might potentially make some good supes stories like how JLU's first arc with Cadmus was amazing.

Static and Beetle should get their own shows. They are the two coolest teen heroes in DC in my opinion, and Static has shown that he can hold a show already.

@Twentyfive: her being included is still pretty random though, of all the bat-family charecters they pick her. If they didnt want to use robin they still could have used nightwing or batgirl. Its just WB's belief that a modern audience wouldnt accept robin, even though Batman:TAS included him and that didnt take away its popularity

What he said. Maybe it could have the same art, but not the same continuity. It will be too convoluted for some people.

@Eternal19: I never knew WB was under that mindset. But then again, that is why JGL was an investigator in Batman 3 instead of Robin.

Wonder Woman, The Outsiders, maybe a little something for the youngins like a full length Plastic Man of SBFF cartoon.

Blue Beetle is definitely one I want the most.

The one that is a lock to happen is Justice League. WB will get one done eventually. Especially after the pre Justice League movie push they announced a while back.

@Mega_spidey01: Red Hood, and Suicide Squad on Adult Swim. I don't know why there aren't more adult-themed superhero shows. Someone needs to tell producers that cartoons don't limit the potential for good story-telling.

A Spectre cartoon on Adult Swim would be awesome, make it like the showcase.

Teen Titans( I would like to but they had their own series so its not necessary but with the wide roster it would be cool or an old school 1980's themed version might be pretty slick)

The same universe and the same animation, voice actors, and writers would be even more ideal.

Edit: Also an Outsiders cartoon would be good.

I want another Legion cartoon. They deserve another shot, not everything can be about batman. An animated movie based on the Great Darkness Saga would be very cool.

A Captain Marvel or I guess "Shazam" cartoon makes too much sense not to do.

A Blue Beetle cartoon would be a good idea too.

I would also watch a Flash, Aquaman, and Doom Patrol show.

There absolutely should be another Superman show.

Cancel the crap Green Lantern show and launch Green Lantern: Mosaic, starring John Stewart. I'm re-reading it and it's awesome.

I think we should have a new Batman show. With traditional animation, not this CG crap that got old 7 years ago. Also think a Gotham City Sirens show would be awesome.

The Legion of Super-Heroes. Based on the 70's and 80's story lines. If done right, the Legion could get some new fans, because they were one of the best things going back then.

Birds of Prey might be good. Also, where is that live-action Raven show I heard about a few years ago?

Bat Family--the four brothers with Bats not really being shown like Birds of prey but animated so better, would easily be a hit Dick(leader)/Jason(aggressive but always shows his soft side)/Tim(smart trying to find his own way)/Damian(brash but is humbled)
