Other than the black outfit, which is an enormous cop-out, it looks good.

@fallschirmjager: I think the Showrunners have stated we'll get the red costume later in the series.

@matthewparker: He will, Charlie Cox had an interview not that long ago talking about it and how he fit in the costume quite snugly.

This looks f**king great! There's a huge Frank Miller and Marvel Knights feel to it which is definitely a step in the right direction. To be honest it doesn't feel like yet /another/ typical Marvel Studios project with all the stupid kids jokes, crappy one liners and trying to not take itself seriously at all. From the trailer it looks like this is going to be a game changer for the franchise and this could very easily be the best comic book TV show we've seen yet.

Really? The quality looked fan made. Ill watch the first episode but i dont have my hopes up about this to be honest.

Can't help but think if this exact same trailer was done by some other company besides Marvel, then it would be getting a negative to indifferent reaction. The trailer didn't make me any more or less excited for the show, and believe I am gonna watch when it airs in April.

As for the question of it beating out The Flash and Arrow to becoming the best cbs on tv? It's possible, we won't know until it airs. Judging soley off the trailer if it looks better Flash or Arrow? Hellz No!

This is the first comic show tv or movie that nailed it all. Not even the TDK hits all marks and it wasent as dark as DD. If DD was a movie it be R rated. DC fans just liked to imagine "well tho Marvel is killing DC in everything I like DC better cause its more mature" Tho that argument is crap its the only thing the DC crew had. And Marvel just completely killed it. Marvel haters all over the web are trying to find fault in this show right now. But all it does is show their insecuritys. And anyone bringing up Arrow or anyother comic tv show in comparison to this is a joke.

After just episode one DD will be considered the best cbtv show by most. And best show period for some.

First off the only two points on your checklist that are important elements in making a good show of this type (deep story, and good action) cannot be proven until we've seen the whole season, so those are invalid.As for the rest of your list it's all preference cause those have no bearing on how good or bad a show will be.

Lolz @ you saying comparing any established cbs to a show that not even out yet is à joke. <<<<<<Your statement is the real joke here, considering we've had great trailers for shows/movies (not that I think this one is great) and the show/movie turns out to be bad, and vice-versa.Point is your statement might be more valid once we've seen the show.
