What the he'll is this message. Why does it occur I just spent 1 and a half hours on a post I post it and get this crap. How do you fix it?

@allstarsuperman: How can I fix it I spent 1-2 hours on that goddamn post
@hittheassasin: Tag a mod in the thread maybe they can bring it back. If not. Then it's just lost.
@allstarsuperman: that's retarded
@hittheassasin: Copy paste it to a CV PM then re-post it.
@darth_wayne: will that work i mean i got that to once. I have been careful since.
That generally happens when you take a long time on a post. If you do, just copy your post before you hit the reply button. Better safe than sorry, you know?
It happens to me when I don't post for a while. I copy and paste for safety, but generally after the message pops up, I just click the submit button again and it works fine.
Unfortunately this tends to happen if you are writing a long post or PM, or just leaving your computer idle for a while. I am not sure about the technical aspects, but my personal advice is to get into a habit of copying your text before you press submit. Just get in practice of using the short hand command for it. That way if you lost the text you can just refresh page, paste it in and then hit submit and it will go through.
It's basically just the comicvine admins not really doing anything to fix this. 4 years later and this still hapoens. I used to love comicvin e but now as much as I hate to admit it this site is kind of a joke now. Even when compared to places like vsbattles. At least when it comes to site management and quality.

Its life
Horrible reasoning. It’s a computer, computers are fixable.
Who cares? Comicvine is dead.
It’s still better than Reddit and that 1920’s layout.

People seem to be confusing what is happening right now with a simple CSRF error case. It's been the case for years that if you spend too much time -- from one to two hours+ -- with a page open without actually posting or refreshing, the error will appear. That's why people need to copy big write-ups they are working on and paste them in a new PM sent to themselves to continue to posting.
The thing right now is the staff not caring that the entire site is full of glitches, and this error popping up everywhere for no reason. It's getting a bit ridiculous at this point, we are five days in.

Facts. It makes your eyes hurt. Who is responding to whom? Anyone’s guess is as good as mine.

Just use Dark mode if your eyes are that weak. At least Reddit bugs get worked on lmao
