Could a "Arrow" style Batman show work?

I know his has been asked before but I'm wondering a few specific things.

1.Would DC be willing to shovel out the nessecary money to do the show justice through special effects, actors and equipment?

2.Who would you have play Batman and other key characters?

3. Would you have the show begin with batman just returning from his years abroad or have him already be a hardened vigilante?

4. Will we see this ever become a reality?

CW Arrow is Batman, it'd look very repetitive.

Batman is too big for a TV show. That's one of the reasons why I think Gotham is just a prequel show.

Wrong. There is a proper Batman in the Arrowverse.

@i_am_lightning: There was a proper Batman in the Smallvilleverse. He was mentioned, but did not appear before the comics. Thats how much Batman you can expect.

Arrow is about Batman?

Why would we need the exact same show?

Also is better if they give the show to NetFlix.

@guardiandevil83: @marshall_long: I have noticed that arrow is an extremely similar hero to batman and many aspects are similar. Arrow has been successful though and batman does have quite a few villains to work with, which could allow a lot of new material to work with. His combat feats would probably have to be a little higher up than arrows (although arrow has some awesome fights) since he doesn't use a bow. I think that he could have some cool plot lines and things of that nature. But I agree that it would be pretty similar to arrow.

No but the concept just screams that it was meant to be a story written for Batman.

Arrow is just an OK show so no. A daredevil style batman show would he good though. Both shows took a lot from batman anyway

Well Batman, I believe that if they were going to bring us a Batman show, Gotham should have been that show.

It should have been called something else, and it should have focused on Bruce traveling the world, learning new trades.

Every season can be a new part of the world, a new master, a new trade. We could have seen Bruce, literally transform into the 'Bat' on screen, every season.

We would grow with him, and with an entire season focussing on a new master, we see and feel as if we learn from them also.

At least, I think it would work.

4. Will we see this ever become a reality? Nope. Batman belongs on the big screen.

@guardiandevil83: no problem. I love arrow too! I think it's an awesome show which is why I'd love to see similar shows. The flash is good but isn't quite as serious as arrow I think. A triple crossover between batman,arrow and flash would be too crazy though I think lol

Batman has more than enough exposure, the slot would be better used if given to other characters.
