Facebook is overrated. Once I went on comic vine I never went back to Facebook.

I can have a better conversation with a stranger on Comicvine, then 80% of the friend i have on facebook.

Facebook sometime feels like nothing more then a way for people you dont like to think they know everything about your life.

I tried Facebook out and it is really social,People have tendencies to post to dumb garbage on it that they think is deep when all they are doing is posting garbage they heard from someone else.The whole like for Jesus shit got annoying, these people were posting this shit on my wall knowing full well I was an athiest.People on Facebook also love to make you feel unwelcome to say a thing to them even when they ask you for a "friend" request.People on Facebook are very whinney,alot are incredibly stupid,a surprising amount are racially insisitive and almost all of them are assholes.It got to the point where I only used it to look at Lolhappens.com post and usually just ignored people who sent me friend request.I eventually just deleted my account altogether.Social Networking in general shows how ignorant people can really be And with this new vine garbage it will only get worse.To some it up Facebook is a place for everyone to share their opinion's ,and almost everyone who uses it is stupid.

But Comic Vine is addictive and a very connected site.Even when I've had problems with people knowone ever comes off as stupid,ignorant, or as a bigot.Even as someone who very loosely reads comics I still feel welcome here as someone with other intrest.

Comic Vine god stomps Facebook.

Well. You created the poll on this site, so I doubt Facebook will win. Do the same on their site and I doubt Vine wins.

I don't have a facebook account (never have, never will).

Been Viner for less than 6 weeks and almost have my 1000th post.

Think that sums up my feelings.

Facebook. It's the only place on the Internet I can perform ducklips, post pictures of new food ideas like enchilaghetti, teleport from San Antonio to Murfreesboro in nine minutes via foursquare and make an account for my father (who is dead) and haunt my siblings.

Two different sites for two different uses, but I like both equally. For ComicVine, it's my go-to place for all things comic books; from news, to information, to what fans think of the most popular storylines. Facebook is where I stay connected with my friends and family, where I can connect and socialize with people that I otherwise would not be able to do so with on ComicVine.

Kind of liking Comic Vine better then youtube right now, because I (no joke) have had an arguement with someone who was utterly convinced that emo people had existed since the beginning of time.On Comic Vine I have never come across anyone that stupid unless someone is trolling.

When I had Facebook it became blatantly apparent to me all of my "friends" are vapid sheep so I just deleted my account, and basically deleted them. I much prefer the little bit of talking to random people I do on here.

Pretty much my attitude, I've had a Faceboot account for years but rarely post anything, just use it to keep in touch with people I know since EVERYONE is there all the freakin' time.

Facebook Batman Fan Base has to be the worst, now i think facebook people knows nothing about comics, they just like to pretend they read them.

I have encountered this as well. It seems to apply to any character though. I get into a debate with someone on FB, I am almost guaranteed to stomp them in character knowledge, even if I don't read up on their favorite character.
