Who is your character that you think has absolutely no right being in a comicbook, and was just a bad idea from the start?
I'll start with Harper Row.
Sentry.
Jar jar Binks... Nah just spit-balling here but he really was annoying in that movie.
An actual comic character... Rip Kirby is probably the most sexist and misogynistic character ever, a true 'manly man' of the 60's (in his late runs at leats)
and I just hated his comic strips at the news papers.

Reasons ?
.... Hawkeye @feartheliving
It's alright though everyone gets a pass for being wrong every now and then, just don't let it happen again. Also if you're a fan of Green Arrow you should really be thanking Hawkeye what with him bring interest back to the character and essentially responsible for changing Ollie's attitude that most GA fans love today. (No not the imitation Batman attitude)
Sentry.
@feartheliving: yes but Ollie pulls it off better ;D
@stormshadow_x: That right? What big two character is GA's writer jumping ship for? :P

Really?
@xwraith: In a sense. Clint came out as a character budding heads with Cap and cracking jokes. It wasn't until after GA 1969 relaunch that he started to really get a personality of his own... which was similar to Hawkeye, albeit GA was a lot more political with his views. Either way both characters are fun and I wouldn't remove either of them. Well I'd be hard pressed to remove any character as they all have potential to be great just takes that one writer that does them justice.
@feartheliving: I'd never really thought of them as that similar (aside from the obvious reasons) before.
And I will be reading All-New Hawkeye.
@xwraith: They have similar aspects to them but they are far from identical characters, plus we're talking many years past now. They've been fleshed out differently and gone through way different things in their respected universes.
@battle_forum_junkie: On the contrary, I think he should get a solo! :D
@feartheliving: Yes because god knows Ollie needs more help then Clint. ;)

As great as Morrisons Batman saga was, I'd have been okay if Damien was never created. I hate him.
Jokers Daughter. All versions.
Silk. I just don't see the point in Slott retconning Peters origin, again.
Half the mutants in existence.
Simon Baz.
Element Woman. We have Metamorpho for a reason.
There's a lot of characters I could think of. I just would need to sit down and think it over.
@stormshadow_x: With writing? No doubt. Clint has had amazing success with Fraction and co (When the book actually comes out). GA before and after Lemire (in the new 52) not so much.

Not really. Arrow was responsible for bringing interest back to GA, not Hawkeye.
@knightsofdarkness2: Huh? Arrow came out in 2012, what I'm referring to took place in the late 1960s...

I totally agree about that part the most.

I thought you were referring to his Marvel Now series.
Hawkeye was never as popular as GA and Hawkeye was barely known back then. Don't recall him doing anything noteworthy in that period other than starring in a couple of stories.
@knightsofdarkness2: He didn't exactly have giant plots dedicated to him (Neither did Ollie) but he was popular enough for DC to think they should relaunch Green Arrow and have him act more like Clint, before that he pretty much was mister generic hero personality.

Source?
Also, Green Arrow is usually more serious than Clint as well as less cocky so they aren't all that similar.
@knightsofdarkness2: Read the books Ollie was in prior to his relaunch then during his relaunch. If you want an actual source that has DC saying that you're out of luck because that'll never happen.
Nope closes you'll get is probably this, and it's from a wiki so it's not much of a source.
In 1969, artist Neal Adams decided to update the character's visual appearance by giving him a short, goatee-like beard and costume of his own design in Brave and the Bold #85. Inspired by Adams' redesign, writer Dennis O'Neil followed up on Green Arrow's new appearance by completely remaking the character's attitude in the pages of Justice League of America #79 (cover-dated November 1969), giving his personality a rougher edge like that of Marvel Comics' archery-themed hero Hawkeye.
That being said I never said Ollie was exactly like like Clint, what I'm saying is that Hawkeye set forth the motions to bring the more well known Ollie that uses aspects of Clint's character traits.
Also, Green Arrow is usually more serious than Clint as well as less cocky so they aren't all that similar.
Well before 1969 GA was more akin to Batman in almost every single way, after which he took a more rebellious attitude which Clint had already been doing and ditched some of the stuff that paralleled him to Batman.
Either way I'm getting tired, and it's a moot point anyway this whole topic is opinion based so if someone wants to say Hawkeye or any other character they have the right to do so. I might not agree but hey that's why they're opinions :P
Where do I begin?
- Damian Wayne, hate that little b!tch.
- Conner Hawke.
- Joker's Daughter.
- Sentry. (Worst thing to happen to Marvel.)
- Cassandra Cain.
- Basically half of Marvel.
Hope Summers. She is a plot device character that is a crappy and annoying character in of itself, led to a crappy event, and now that her reason for being created is done and passed, Marvel has no idea what to do with her.
Agree with Hope but which "crappy event" are you refering to?
I used to always say Daken should have never been created but I've backed off that somewhat.
That's what I figured but just wanted to be sure. Agree with that also btw.
