Character Idea: Woodsman

So last night I was thinking of a character, that I have yet to see made and so was wondering what you people would think so here he is.

Actual Name: Justin (Last name unknown) 
 
Alias: Woodsman   
 
Age: 26
 
Ethnicity: White(also part Cherokee)
 
Height: 6' 2 
 
Weight: 260 lbs 
 
Build: Muscular 
 
Appearance: He wears a long sleeve checkered red and black shirt, with dark blue jeans and brown boots. His hair is dark black and he has blue eyes, and he also usually has a little facial hair never a full beard but enough to notice that he could grow one. 
 
Weapons: 
 
(Main): A tomahawk passed down from an ancestor in his family, that was fashioned from granite.
 
(Secondary/Others): Usually a pistol or rifle, however he is also well versed in other tools that he can use from his lodge in the woods. 
  
Personality: He is somewhat of a loner, being that he lives in the woods. He isn't too keen on modern technology, however he accepts it and uses it at times though not a whole lot. Those that meet him usually say after, he is very straight to the point with things and usually isn't the one to mess around, however he does have a kind and friendly side though mostly towards woman and sometimes men when they aren't being jerks. 

Base of Operations: He has a lodge out deep in the woods. 
 
History: Justin was born in the country and when his dad deemed he was old enough, he got his first rifle and in doing so was taken by his dad to go on their first hunt. Justin enjoyed it, he started small however with rabbits and the like until finally he got his first deer and it tasted good, his dad also taught him how to skin an animal for its fur, using the bones and other organs that weren't to be wasted and was told not to waste any good part of the animal. Justin was also taught by his dad, in living off the land, making a shelter should he even not make it home in time, finding the right food to eat from the trees, it wasn't long until Justin was a full grown man though eventually his parents passed away and he fell into a sort of depressed state for a very short while. 
 
Though while his family wasn't exactly rich, Justin did get enough money both from his inheritance and from his own work to get a lodge deep within the woods stating that he felt more at peace there. The lodge was simple, and in it Justin stored his various weapons that he gets however his tomahawk is always on him no matter where he goes, as it reminded him of where his family had come from. Things started out normal at first, Justin regularly hunted this time going at much bigger game such as elk and bear however eventually things began to get a little weird from then on, as during one full moon night a flash of light filled the air before the sound of something like an explosion shook the woods.  Waking up from the noise, Justin grabbed his tomahawk and set out following the strange glow that filled the darkness and upon arriving noticed it was a meteor and it was glowing green when all of a sudden it vaporized into nothing. 
 
At first Justin was confused, wondering what it was though as he turned around to leave he came face to face with a grizzly bear, however this bear was different as the beast had glowing marks on its body and its eyes were blood red. Justin brought out his tomahawk just as the bear decided to attack, it slashed at the man with its deadly claws however Justin was quick and, striking what normally would have been a fatal blow the bear fell in a slump seemingly dead. As Justin started walking away, he was taken by surprise by the still alive bear even though it had a deep wound in its skull, enough to even show part of the brain that had been cleaved in half by his tomahawk, the bear began to slash at Justin with its claws making large gashes on his body though with enough strength Justin grabbed at his tomahawk and struck at the bear's throat and using all of his strength to topple the bear over before jumping on the beast and hacking away with his tomahawk until finally the bear had been decapitated. 
 
Standing over the dead body, Justin looked at the body of the beast noticing that instead of normal blood, the blood of the bear was green a light glowing green. Before he could have time to think any further, he watched as other red eyes appeared from the shadows, thus signaling Justin to get out of there and so he did making his way back to his lodge. Once arriving back, he sat down trying to think of what he had just experienced though he knew enough that whatever had happened was because of the meteor crashing in the woods and somehow affecting the animals in it. He then thought for a moment, coming to the realization that he couldn't just let these crazed animals live in the woods, what if hikers or hunters come? They wouldn't know how to deal with it, and though he himself had little experience in dealing with whatever was going on, he was well experienced in hunting, tracking and surviving and with those thoughts in mind Justin took it upon himself to cleanse the woods of these crazed animals.

Well there you have it folks, my character idea. I haven't figured which company he should be apart of yet though, so any ideas on what universe he should be in would be great!

Any comments/thoughts? Bumping early, don't want it to get easily lost in the darkness of other threads.
