Bruce Timm vs Phil Bourassa: The Better Artist

Eh, it's hard to compare the two. Timm is supposed to be more stylized while Phil is supposed to look more realistic (relatively speaking).

I prefer Bourassa - he has a wider array of skill and technical ability, some of his stuff is really nice

I think Timm's work is competent enough on it's own merit though - it's pretty much a style that is easily recognised. Iconic might be a bit much praise; but it's certainly in that direction

Coming back to this old thread, it feels like Bourassa has 2 distinct styles now: Pre-Flashpoint(JL: Crisis on Two Earths, Young Justice, Justice League: Doom) and Animated N52

Phill since i like the batgirl's look.

Timm. His designs always felt that they could flow better when in motion.

Silhouette says it all. Timm's Batman looks powerful and could easily strike fear in criminals. The other guy's Batman could be replaced by a Robin or Spiderman, it has a teenager silhouette - doesn't scream BATMAN, just GUY.
