Who do you think is the best superhero of all time? I mean everything overall, Strength, Intelligence, Dark past, popularity, suit etc. In my opinion it is batman. I am a batman fanboy but however I think many people would agree with me. What do you guys think?
Best Superhero of all time.
Hulk, Thor, Cap, Captain Marvel, MMH, LB Galactus and Nightcrawler
I highly doubt so based on her current actions in Civil War II
@ldm: I meant batson
oh...
I know this answer's mainstream but Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, and Wolverine.
If I had to choose one, I guess Batman
Spider Man is the greatest superhero ever to me.
Wanna know why, because I'm Spider Man, because were all Spider Man, because each and every one of us can be under that mask. Spider Man is our portal to the superhero universe. No one can be Batman and no one can be Superman. They are examples to look up to. Not like Spider Man who symbolizes that each and every one of us can be heroes, an example that drives us to be good.
He also has the coolest costume since its inception. No underwear like Batman who's design has been altered over his ages whereas Spider Man has stood the test of time and still retains the iconic appearance Ditko gave him.
He has the most unique origin story where criminals didn't just killed his uncle but he himself had a part to play via his inaction. What drives him isn't vengeance or idealism, its guilt and ti distinguishes him from every other superhero in existence.
His rogues gallery is the most diverse in any comic book with a wide list of enemies with unique personalities and powers and grudges.
His power set is also one of the most well put together and balanced. He isn't normal like Batman and he isn't godlike like Superman. He's grounded but very powerful.
Generally heroes tend to be categorized in two bands, the Batmans and the Supermans. Spider Man is his own category. He is the middle man, the balance between darkness and light. He is a positive superhero who deals with dark happenings and it elevates him above both groups.
It's between Superman & Captain America(Not HydraCap). One thing I love about Superman is his lack of tragedy pushing him to be a hero.This alone separates him from so many others. He doesn't do it because someone got killed, He's a hero because he simply wants to be good,he's selfless because he chooses to be. I connect with this on a personal level. We don't have to wait for some sh*t to go sideways for us to decide to be good people. Despite the powers & being an "alien",he was raised on earth just like all us, lives a "every-man" type of life as Clark Kent. Like most of us,Kent's regular life isn't Super amazing(Iron-man,Batman,Fantastic Four etc) in anyway. He pays bills,tries to maintain a relationship,balance work,etc. Metaphorically this come across as, Anyone one us could go on to do be/do something extraordinary & it doesn't have to be catching a plane. Which anyone who's read Some of his comics know it's not about the powers. Superman is ironically one of the most "human" characters in the JL,which is funny because we live in an era where people genuinely being good is sometimes looked at like it's "alien". He just shows being human goes further than just being a Homo sapien.
Captain America grew up in a different time,despite growing up in a sexist,racist and maybe xenophobic era,He turned out to be arguably the most noble person on Earth . As someone who grew in a rough neighborhood, certain things were expected of me, but characters like Cap show people,you don't have to be a product of your environment/time & It doesn't define you. (At the same time it kind of does, which creates this beautiful dichotomy) I could go on and on, but whatever. Cap & Supes all the way.

Wow, nice post man.
I gotta go with Cap, but Wolverine, Spiderman and Doctor Strange are close seconds.
