Every week, we take a look at some of the most bizarre, exciting, and downright unique things to happen in comics. Check out our choices of the strange and wacky things that shouldn't be overlooked from this week's releases.

There may be some tiny spoilers ahead.

Drax #10

Strangest Farm

No Caption Provided

Imagine the fierce Fin Fang Foom and Terrax, former Herald of Galactus, as farmers. You actually don't have to imagine it because it's shown in the latest issue of Drax. The two have decided to live a quieter life on Fin Fang Farm. Unfortunately that quieter life is interrupted, and they soon have to take off to save a baby space dragon.

Harley's Little Black Book #4

Weirdest Thing From Superman to Grab

No Caption Provided

Apparently, Harley Quinn grabbed Superman's balls. This is something that happens in the next issue. She was in-or is going to be in-Superman's Fortress of Solitude. She found some balls there, and one of them allows time travel. She really likes saying she grabbed the balls.

Deadpool #17

Worst Thing to Have for Dinner

No Caption Provided

Deadpool often does bad things. People usually aren't too happy to see him. When he shows up at Preston's place to visit his daughter, he asks what's for dinner. Preston gives him a literal knuckle sandwich.

Detective Comics #939

Best Dark Knight Returns Homage

No Caption Provided

There's an iconic image from Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns we often see recreated. In this week's issue of Detective Comics, Batman is shown swinging with a bolt of lighting in the background.

Best Entrance by "Batman"

No Caption Provided

If you're living in Gotham City, the last thing you want to see is Batman busting through your window. When Batman does it here, he says, "Hey, uh...Batman here." It's not the most awe-inspiring piece of dialogue to say. It turns out this wasn't really Batman making the big entrance.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #11

Best Counting Lesson in a Comic

No Caption Provided

Who says you can't learn anything from comic books? In a dream, Squirrel Girl is confronted by Count Nefaria. He challenges her to Dactylonomy. You get to learn what exactly that is followed by Doreen's lesson involving binary numbers.

Weirdest Occupation for Kraven the Hunter

No Caption Provided

Kraven is one of Spider-Man's deadliest foes. This is the guy that managed to defeat Spidey, bury him alive, and take his place. In Squirrel Girl's dream/nightmare, she encounters Kraven in a new profession as a college administrator.

Conan the Slayer #2

Best Use of a Sword

No Caption Provided

One of the last things you'd want to see is Conan the Barbarian coming at you with a sword. If this was something you saw, it probably would be the actual last thing you'd see. With his sword, Conan can easily slice right through his opponents.

International Iron Man #6

Best Beatles Reference

No Caption Provided

In a flashback scene, we see Tony Stark's birth mother meet a guy named Jude. She says, "Hey Jude," as in the Beatles song. This is something he's probably heard a million times.

Wonder Woman #5

Best Sight to See When Imprisoned

No Caption Provided

Imagine being locked up and held prisoner by some strange-looking beasts. Seeing Wonder Woman coming to your rescue with her fists flying would be a grand sight to behold.

Extraordinary X-Men #13

Best Indication That Ice Powers Make You Say Bad Puns

No Caption Provided

You probably remember Arnold Schwarzenegger's attempt at portraying Mr. Freeze. It involved a lot of really bad puns. Iceman and Nightcrawler are dealing with some bad guys and Iceman can't resist making an ice joke. There must be something about ice powers that gives the urge to say things like this.

Deathstroke #1

Best Reunion

No Caption Provided

Deathstroke doesn't have many friends. Wintergreen is pretty much the only person he would consider to be one. Wintergreen has been imprisoned for some time. He's a little upset it took Slade so long to find him.

Venom: Space Knight #11

Best Vanilla Ice Reference

No Caption Provided

Spider-Man is trying to stop Venom. One weakness the alien symbiote has is loud noises. Spider-Man uses the opportunity to recite part of "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice very, very loudly.

The Hellblazer #1

Strangest Thing to See at a Grocery Store

No Caption Provided

The last thing you want to see in the produce aisle is the vegetables trying to talk to you. Swamp Thing needs to contact John Constantine and takes advantage of the opportunity when he's is out shopping.

That's it this week. Let us know in the comments below what other Best Stuff you dug this past week. Thanks to @ploiken for his suggestions. If you want to participate or felt we missed some other Best Stuff, don't complain, contribute, especially if you didn't offer any suggestions. Each week you can @reply me on Twitter at @GManFromHeck by Saturdays using the hashtag #BestStuffInComics. We'll give you a shout out and I'll think you're pretty groovy.

Be sure to always look for the best stuff and always be sure to resist grabbing Superman's balls if you ever visit the Fortress of Solitude. Better yet, just don't grab anyone's balls.

Has the symbiote really changed or is it a junkie saying that they made cocaine less addicting?

I'd include the fight in Hal Jordan and the GLC. Showcases a cool throw down and why his personality always keeps him going. No matter the odds. That's just me though. The banter between Ted and Jaime in BB was fun as well

"Hey, uh...Batman here." is still better than "Hi Freeze, I'm Batman."

The opening is pretty funny in Deadpool #17. Just make fun of the whole "even tie-in" thing

Yeah, I'd definitely include a Hal and a Ted/Jaime moment myself.

The Deathstroke moment was great too. Detective was good as well but they already did that homage a couple of issues ago at Ulysses Armstrong's desk so... It might be that both artists wanted to do that so fine, but it shouldn't happen thrice.

@hound_of_war: You just me realize that's what Spider-man's probably thinking. I kept thinking why was he being suck a jackass and not even listening to Flash. Al though Doc-Ock-Spider-man did the same and peter should remember that I guess.

But to answer your question, I think the symbiote is in fact no longer addictive ever since it was "fixed" at it's home planet in Guardian of Galaxy.

Venom Space Knight #11 made no sense, why was Spider-Man attacking him, he knows it's Flash and that they aren't like the other Venoms, he even learned that after Superior Spider-Man, which is what the Comic referred to

Maybe Spiderman knows that Venom is in Space... and that there is another Venom on earth [Mania]... or he have fear off some Venom Clone... Spidy have fear of clone, I suppose... [Or: this is a new universe, maybe something is different...]

(I haven't read the issue yet...)

No, sorry. I've readed the issue. The aswer is simple: Spider-Man is a Dork. Period.

He know that there is Flash Thompson IN Venom, but don't know [or don't care] that Flash can control it, and attack them anyway, fearing Venom was in controll...

So I haven't been up on current comics, I mostly read old runs but I have to ask..

Are 90% of comics nowadays just taking cues from Deadpool and not taking anything seriously? It just seems like everything is either a joke or a self aware reference to what's popular.
