Are You Proud of Being A Comic Book Geek?

I'm not ashamed of it.

I'm not a comic geek, i just enjoy this site, I don't really read Comic books everyday even, more like 1 or 2 times a week when i can't sleep or something similar.

I'm not really proud that I read comic books.

Kind of the same way I'm not proud that I enjoy eating oatmeal for breakfast. It's just something.

Not proud at all. Angry rather at everything they are doing to the characters that I've followed for years.

I normally read 5 - 8 comics a week obviously have weeks where my numbers are in the 20's and a few weeks where my number is 1 or 2. If you aren't proud of the person you are you really need to change something.

Its just part of who i am.

Proud sounds a bit much. I don't care if people know I read comics if that's what you mean. I don't go out of my way to promote it in a in your face manner or anything. I mean reading comics isn't some sort of great achievement it's a hobby/interest that you buy into. Do I appreciate the stuff that I've read and the knowledge I have gathered through it? Yeah but it's still a hobby that really has no barring on what anyone else is doing nor should it.

I don't think it is really an accomplishment. I'm certainly not ashamed of it, but what is there to be proud about it. I'm just doing something I like doing.

It's not a bad thing anymore. CBMs make everyone feel ad if they're comic fans.

Proud? Should I be? Are people proud to read books, collect stamps, watch Community? I think it's a pretty cool hobby, if that makes sense to anyone.
