Anybody else a fan of Swamp Thing? Will he be introduced in JL?

Be cool to see him in a minor role during Justice League film

Swamp Thing is more likely to be found in a Justice League Dark movie these days since his adoption to the Vertigo/mystical wing of the DCU a couple of decades ago.

In April 2015, del Toro said the script revision has been handed in and if there was availability in his schedule, he would direct it; if not, "somebody else will do it... [The film] needs to fall into the plan of the shared universe."^[40] In June 2015, the film was confirmed to still be in development at Warner Bros., with some of their other Vertigo Comics film adaptions moving to New Line Cinema. The Hollywood Reporter stated that del Toro was no longer attached to the project.^[41] In August 2016, it was announced that Doug Liman will direct the film with del Toro and Scott Rudin producing and Michael Gilio writing with the film being titled Dark Universe.^[42]

It was supposed to share the same world as the Constantine tv series, but that got cancelled. So who knows how it will turn out. Then again, Constantine got pseudo-assimilated into CW, so maybe it will share setting with that now instead.

Trivia: Swamp Thing is the only DC character other than Batman and Superman to get a movie sequel.

I like him but not in JL, he would be out of place.

Adapting him to a movie and getting people to take it seriously is a huge problem given the nature of the stories you'd want to adapt to the screen.

It'd be like trying to stick a miller lite in someone's hand and trying to convince them that what's in the can is a fine wine instead of cold piss.
