An idea on what marvel is doing...

So I had this thought today seeing as marvel just announced infinity gauntlet for 2015. What if all of these announcement's leading to secret wars is a reboot of the marvel universe similar to the N52. Where they take all there continuity and clean it up. Maybe make some of it tie closer to the movies. Or they could just want to update 40 plus years of stories.

Just think they could rewrite all the bad decisions like OMD for instance or avengers vs xmen. Just a thought I had what do yall think.

Reboot but keeping the main core stories to keep some of their continuity instead of throwing it all away like dc

I think it's a Secret Wars between alternate universes.

People have been predicting a Marvel reboot for years and it still hasn't happened.

I just don't see any other reason to retread stories like ifinite gauntlet and civil war if not to show plot lines of a rebooted universe.

Pretty much what I was thinking.

I'm thinking the destroying of other worlds in alternate universes with the whole "Incursion" arc in New Avengers by the Illuminati will trigger war between the MARVEL multiverse. Damn Illuminati playing god *smh*..........just a theory, I'm probably dead wrong tho.

I don't think it's a reboot, Marvel seems to have learned from the mistakes DC has made, but it COULD be a relaunch and a retcon. Personally, I think these are all limited series that tie in with Secret Wars. Very similar to the many limited series that DC had during Flashpoint.

I know, this sounds like a reboot, lol, but I don't think it's gonna be one, though I AM all for Marvel rebooting. It's time.
