Welcome to Mashed Up Origins! This is an experiment of mine that I was going to make into a group, but with the chaos that a group can bring I decided to go it alone, no offense but I don't feel like juggling a 'world' at the moment. Feel free to do your own. It’s short, sweet and basically a quick origin, not an ongoing just something to make you go (hopefully) “I’d like to see that!”

7 th April 1944, Cherbourg
“No your usual sidekick Herr Captain” remarked Baron Zemo as he watched four soldiers shock Namor with high-tech cattle prods. The Atlantean prince convulsed and writhed in pain. Zemo looked over at the badly beaten Captain America being held by four soldiers. “Where is the one they call Bucky?”
“Hopefully,” spat Captain America “Sending a rocket into the Wolf’s Lair”
Zemo thumped his boot into Captain America’s gut “You American’s and your bravado!”
“Zemo” wheezed the Captain.
“Yes Herr Captain”
“I’m going to kill you”
Zemo looked deep into his nemesis’ eyes “Yes I believe you would…if given a chance” Zemo smashed his fist into his face “Beat them both. We launch on schedule”

“Imperius Rex!” roared Namor as he flew after the drone. Captain America clung to his arm. The drone began to tilt up and pick up speed as it sped towards London.
“I need to drop you” yelled Namor “It’s getting away!”
“I can disarm it Namor” he yelled in reply “Just get closer”
Namor poured on speed as the drone shuttle inched away and gained altitude.
“Closer Namor”
“Bah!” Namor shook his comrade in arms from his grasp and caught up to the bomb. He smashed his fist into the metal casing and tore off a panel.
“Don’t hit it!” yelled Captain America as he fell towards the sea.
All Namor caught was “hit it” over the noise. He raised his fist and punched into the core of the drone and the shuttle exploded. The shock wave hit Captain America slamming him hard into the cold waters of the English Channel.
8 th April 1944, 130ft underwater near the Straits of Dover
“…merica has been blown up” The Soviet radio man signal to the helm at the intercepted transmission. Commander Karpov strode over to his station and put on a set of massive earphones to hear the message.
“Prepare to surface”

Laying on a slab in the medical bay was Namor. His chest rose slowly and erratically. His left arm had been completely blown off, other burns and shrapnel wounds peppered his chest and face.
“How is he?” asked Commander Karpov as he entered the room.
“We have pumped adrenaline into his heart, administered CPR” replied Dr Rezun “He will live. Seems the frigid waters have reacted with his odd physiology to flash freeze him. I did not expect Captain America to be a mutant”
“This is not Captain America, Dr Rezun” said Karpov lighting a cigarette “This is a Winter Soldier”
