Nude pictures posted by moderator

I'm sure you'll stop me from posting for a while, or maybe even ban me but I speak out against injustice when I see it, and I don't care that a moderator posted it. My younger brother uses this same account. It's not right, he saw it!! I may get banned but at least I speak out unlike people that stand by why bad things happen to good people.

They are adult comic anthologies, we index comics here don't we? there are thousands of adult comics on this site and these ones are censored as per Japanese obscenity laws.

Also this isn't a bug, moving to the proper forum.

As for the nude covers aspect, nude covers have always been allowed for issues only, they are not to be added to galleries, profiles or the forum.

One person notices a few covers out of thousands and everyone freaks out, such a waste :/

You can't post "nude" on the forums, the forum rules and wiki rules are different, the CV wiki section has different rules as far as nudity and so on, its aimed more at being comprehensive. I didn't click on the link, but presumably some of the covers are of an erotic nature? Anyway moderators tend to know the rules better than anyone else, probably better to send them a PM, since ironically this being the forums, linking to adult materials is probably against the rules, even if its to this site's wiki. I am not sure how serious the OP is, because you don't need to post a link to such material to make a compliant about it. The compliant might be valid, but this way your just going to have actual youngsters seeing it by virtue of being in the forums and following the link to images they shouldn't see.

That's not true, any user can add adult issues to the wiki or lists, with images, and not be reprimanded. It is well within the rules.

It is a shame, i mean I know you guys even restrict the days you upload things like this to minimise the exposure they get. At least that's what I hear. From a friend...>_>...<_<

@joygirl: They are comics and they fall within the rules, they are part of the wiki, if you don't like them nobody is forcing you to look at them, it was your own choice to click the OP's link to begin with.

This is not something that should be shown on a kid-friendly site, especially if such images are shown by a moderator. This is wrong.

To remove them would be Censorship and is unwarranted. These are existing Comics/Manga Titles he has added. Are we going to start excluding certain extreme genres now? Maybe we should just have an Adult Content Wiki partition thing? Those issues in the OP link don't pop up in the search bar that easily.

@giantsfan576: We have rules about when comics with adult covers can be added, they are not added on days where people look at the new issues feed regularly, they were also added near midnight to minimize the chance of users seeing them and they were pushed off the first page of results within hours.

the site has allowed nude covers since the site started....the goal of the site is to be the most complete comic book wiki on the internet and they can't do that if they don't have the covers....most of the books with covers like this are so independent that you would have to search for them specifically to find them anyway

@giantsfan576: if your little brother has his own email he should sign up for his own account, your private messages should only be read by you and I don't just mean for this instance, somebody could send anything to your inbox. We've had spam bots send porn in PM's before.

@giantsfan576: the forum & editorial is kid friendly, the sheer size of the wiki keeps most people from seeing adult comics as they are a drop in the ocean, this whole situation was blown out of proportion based on someones bad decision to send you a link, you might want to let people know that you share your account so nothing like this happens again.
