Missing Issues and Editing Problems

1.  How do you go about adding an issue, title, comic that is not included in ComicVine yet anywhere?  For example an issue for a volume that is just not included yet AND an issue for a title/volume that is not included yet...

2.  When I try to add creators, characters, etc. I don't get the "search line" choice - I only get the black "heading" but not any white "choice line" to type in a search for whoever I want to add...

To clarify...after I click on Edit...when the Edit page comes up, there are various black bar heading lines, that read...

Add a Creator Credit to this Issue
Add a Character Credit to this Issue
Add a Team Credit to this Issue
Add a Location Credit to this Issue
Add a Concept Credit to this Issue
Add an Object Credit to this Issue
Add a Story Arc to this Issue

According to the editing tutorial video, there should be a

Search for a ... (each of the above)  - in a white line area directly below the black line...
But I don't get that on my Internet Explorer Browser.  How would I go about updating the browser, or something else.
Should I just be using the Apple Internet browser?

I would use Firefox. Their new version was just released yesterday.
