Deadpool Movie Is Currently 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

That's right, the movie has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes with 11 reviews counted, and an average rating of 8.3/10. I just knew this movie would be great. I'm sure the rating will drop slightly as more review roll in, but seeing as 11 out of 11 people loved it, I'm sure it'll settle at 90% at worst.

That's only 11 of 200+ movie critics who'd be reviewing this movie. I'm still not quite sure I'd watch it. I'd wait for at least 50 more reviews.

That gives you an estimation of how many people will like it compared to how many people won't. And so far it's looking pretty good.

It's certainly a great sign, but not 100% indicative since hundreds more reviews will roll out soon.

they are scared of paying 12-14 dollars depending on where you live, and wasting 2 and a half hours of precious time they could be spending on here

Did I ever say RT forms my opinion?

I would still spend money of a film I'm interested in regardless of score. Hell, I watched Fant4stic and that had 9% because I was interested in it and maybe I'd enjoy it.

I should have you know I don't let critics form my opinion. Furious 7 has 81%, and I personally rated it 4/10

But to say that Rotten Tomatoes is not a reliable indicator of quality on more than 1 occasion, that would be a lie. For example, 12 Angry Men has 100% and that is one of the best films ever.

I only look at the Top Critics scores for Rotten Tomatoes movies and then only a few select critics. Of the ones who've currently reviewed Deadpool, both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter were favorable, so I have hopes that other critics whose opinion I value will feel the same. We'll see how things look by week's end.

A positively critiqued Deadpool movie will set a high bar for the other superhero films slated this year. This may lead to harsher reviews for those that don't meet this higher standard.

Honestly, I think you're setting yourself up for a disappointment with all this optimism.

Pride Prejudice and Zombies also had a high rotten tomatoes rating , then more critics watched it , lol , don't get your hopes high dude

Everyone seeing it now is doing advanced screenings getting the red carpet rollout. Of course they get good reviews. This always happens.

@rustyroy: Why do you think comic book movies get so high ratings on RT nowadays? They either really hate a Comic book movie or really love it. They don't review a movie much more objectively. Those are the type of reviewers who only sees the big blockbuster moves.

I guess I'm the only person who doesn't think this movie will be comic book accurate. I've read a bunch of his comics and I've never seen him be so profane and he isn't nearly as sexual (or making sexual remarks all the time) as this movie is portraying him to be. Extremely disappointed that they made it rated R.

I really hope this turns out to be one of Fox's "big ones"- like X2, or DOFP.

its not comic book accurate. its already been established that it is based off the video game more than the comic book.
