So which New 52, new characters have potential?

There's so many New 52 series, I can't read them all, and don't follow them all. I probably only read like 5 series at the moment. Of all the new characters introduced in the New 52, wether villain or hero, or a faction/group/team of heroes/villains, do you think has pretty much been established or has a respectable fan base/popularity so far? Which new characters do you guys think will stay be going strong or be considered top tier 5 years, 10 years, 15 years down the road?

I think Seeder from Swamp thing has potential, as well as Blood brother from animal man, but blood brother hasn't really been mentioned a lot, pretty much we know he's there but we know nothing about. Swamp thing and animal man both need baddies that push them to their limit.

I think the obvious one here is the court of owls, I think they will be going strong in DC years from now.

I also liked doll face from detective comics, I think they should bring him back and expand his role/stories/etc..

Correct me if I'm wrong, I never read anything pre new 52 so IDK if the ones I are mentioned are new or not.

So what do you guys think. Im talking about new characters, not re-introductions.

The Dead King easily put himself as one of Aquaman's top villains behind Ocean Master and Black Manta.

I hope we'll see him again. The entire arc was AWESOME!!!

Reverse-Flash (Daniel West) has potential too, though the arc was so short to me. Each issue was under 20 pages ...

I thought reverse flash was pre new 52? I don't read flash but I didn't know he was a new character, cool. He does look like a badass though.

Brother Blood was around before the New 52 so he doesn't count.

There was a Reverse Flash before as well although he wasn't Daniel West.

But i'd say the truly new characters that have the most staying power are

3. Komodo (from Green Arrow)

4. Pandora

Did not know brother blood was pre new 52.

Forgot to mention emperor penguin...unless he aint new.

I do love Cyborg Superman in The New 52 he might as well be a new charchter.

I'm still shocked nothing has been done with Baz.There was a lot of hype around his character and nothing came of it. Personally I loved his arc in GL. Really wanted more of him and B'dg teaming up.

@al_capown: Emperor Penguin is new as well, although i don't see him being that big of a deal.

@longbowhunter: I was wondering that too. I guess he is still in limbo with the rest of the justice league since the start of Forever Evil. Hopefully he will have a big moment when they all return
