What the crap.....if Wolverine, hawkeye, or Iron Man gets the Phoenix Force then I am going to distance myself more from Marvel than I already do. Why can't they just leave it with Cyke? Someone already brought up the fact (in another thread) that, back in the day, the Phoenix Force already liked the idea of being able to feed off of the power of Cyke's optic beams. Makes sense to me......

Unit he'll manipulate everyone and get the PF for himself to take the universe!

I'm sometimes optimistic to a fault about comic book events. But I've definitely lost faith in Marvel. You'd think Fear Itself would have done the deed but nope...it's Avengers vs X-men.

Most likely candidates: Hope, Rachel, Cable, Quentin Quire (FANBOY HYPE), Scarlet Witch, or Iron Fist.

This is the teaser image for Marvels' upcoming relaunch. See the red dude to Wolverines right? Yup, looks like Cyclops with the phoenix force to me (Jean Grey apparently is coming back to the Marvel Universe, but the young Jean from the original X Men. Bendis strikes again!!!).

Let's be honest, after the initial film, Highlander kinda went south (especially that one were they're aliens or something idiotic like that). The shows were okay, but there was still much better stuff on at the time to enjoy instead.

I'm still in awe they want to reboot the franchise at all.

Iron Man's new armour has been in the works for a while, so i don't think it's anything to do with the Phoenix (i could always be wrong when it comes to the whims of Marvel, of course). I'm still not sure about Scott...

As for who should get it, I'm interested in seeing either Stark or Ironfist getting it. It would be interesting, IMO.

Also, is it just me or does it seem like, up in the cover in the article, everyone's hands are reaching towards the Phoenix Force like 'MINE! MINE! MINE!' but Ironfist's is like 'Come here.'? I might be reading too much into it but still...just can't shake the feeling.

Why all the Jean Grey hatred?

At least she's a mildly interesting character. Hope is boring, and the K'un L'un tie-in is lame.

This won't be a popular answer, but I feel like Meggan could handle the P-force. She's able to siphon massive amounts of energy and already has a deep connection to natural/lifeforces. I know she had a strange reaction back in Excalibur where being in close quarters with Rachel caused a sort of temporary power meld between them...like the Phoenix wanted to be part of her.
